Good luck against Inter and all the best for the final if you get there?

A very, very easy game with goals coming from Lampard a 35 yard strike, Torres, Sturridge and on his return from injury, Nicolas Anelka. We completely dominated the game and Newcastle were just poor but got a goal back. Elsewhere Man Utd beat West Brom 4-0 and man city had beaten villa 3-1 to keep the pressure on us.
A fantastic and a very much important win considering Man Utd outplayed us and had more chances than we did. Fortunately the ref was on our side and gave offside twice to Hernandez who had put the ball in the net twice. I had slightly rotated the squad as Ivanovic, Lampard and Ramires were quite tired after playing 90 mins against Newcastle 2 days before this game so I brought in Bosingwa, Meireles and Essien and thank god it paid off. Evra scored an own goal after good pressure from Anelka.
This was a fantastic win for QPR in their battle to stay up and also helped us out as former City and Chelsea man Shaun Wright Phillips grabbed the winner against his former club just before half time. We are now 6 points behind Man Utd and hope to keep the pressure on them.
In our next game is the Smei final of the Champions League where I'll be facing Inter Milan. The other semi final is Arsenal against Bayern Munich.
This was a superb win to go to the San Siro against a tough Inter side despite them missing Sneijder and another player we got 2 away goals and a clean sheet. It was a top all round performance and very pleased with my players! Alex was an absolute rock at the back whilst Cech also pleased me with his performance during the game!
In this game I rotated the squad and used a lot of fringe players the likes of Paulo Ferreira, Ryan Bertrand, Lukaku etc as we had the second leg of our champions league tie coming up a few days later and we completely thrashed QPR. The game was just so easy. It was a fantastic first half with us scoring 5 goals before half time. In the second half we got a bit complacent and should have really scored more than we did. QPR got a couple back in the second half due to poor defending and goalkeeping from Hilario. Otherwise a fantastic performance with 2 goals coming from Lukaku and Eriksen and one from Sturridge. Goals for QPR came from Tarrabt and Vaagen Moen.
Not the best of results against Inter but we still went through. Sturridge didn't help matters though as he got sent off early in the first half for a rash challenge on Maicon but he was having a good game beforehand. After that I changed the tactics to more defensive and Terry and Cole in particular defended very well for us. After Muntari got the opening goal I thought the worst but we managed to hold on and progress to the.......CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL!! I will be playing Arsenal who beat Bayern 4-1 on aggregate.
A good win for us as Blackburn are tough to beat especially at their stadium. It was a very scrappy game with Drogba getting an early winner. We didn't really play all that well but we had chances and we should have taken some of them. Once again Alex performed admirably at the back to help us seal the win.
A superb result to keep the pressure on Man United as we grabbed a 2-0 win with Drogba getting both of the goals. I thought it would be heading for a 0-0 draw really with the keepers at both ends pulling off save after save. Essien got injured 10 minutes from time and misses the Champions League final. After we went down to 10 men I honestly thought that is when Spurs would put more pressure on us but in the end was a comfortable result as Drogba got a late second.
What a sensational result! It was a terrific performance by every single player most definitely Fernando Torres who grabbed himself 2 goals and also got an assist. He put in a top, top class performance and was rightly awarded MOTM. His best game for us! This put us ONE POINT BEHIND MAN UNITED and also it confirmed second spot!
Unfortunately we drew 0-0 against Everton though we should have been awarded a penalty. The performance was not good at all. I think the players had holidays on their mind to be honest. Man United beat Stoke and therefore won the Premiership by 3 points! This is how the table finished:
Was quite a surprising season with Wigan finishing high in the league and Sunderland getting relegated. Also Newcastle struggled as well. In the Europa League next season will be Liverpool and Aston Villa. I am delighted with our league position as I felt we could challenge for it though the board for some reason was quite disappointed by our position but oh well.

I have been given the Great Britain U23 Squad but I do still remain as the manager of Chelsea! I will be facing Costa Rica, Cameroon and South Korea so I really should be finishing 1st in our group.
This is the squad I will be using for the Olympic Games. The other player which isn't shown is Danny Welbeck. It is a very strong squad and only have picked 2 players who are not English that being of course Bale and Ramsey but are of course British. You are also allowed to pick a maximum of 3 over 23 so I went with Joe Hart, Baines and of course Wayne Rooney.
Going back to Chelsea I decided to splash the cash on Cavani as Drogba is not getting any younger and Anelka left on a free transfer. I did try to tie him up on a new 1 year deal but wasn't interested. Salomon Kalou will also be leaving as well as I've put him up for sale. The other 2 senior players to leave were Hilario and Paulo Ferreira and the rest were youngsters who had no future at the club. I also put in a bid for Shinji Kagawa for £15m who will have to decide between Chelsea and AC Milan. After I get him some players will be going either on loan or permanently so I can get a centre back as Alex and Terry aren't getting younger so might go in for Sakho the young centre back who has great attributes.
Cavani should be a perfect immediate replacement for Drogba, do you intend to use Lukaku as his long term replacement? Since Hilario has left are you going to be using Delac and Courtois as your back up keepers since they are back this season? Terry should play well until about 2014 and after that he has played back up for me in 2015. Always keep an eye open in you setup as i have had some really good players come through. Keep an eye open for Varane from R. Madrid. He didnt get as much game time for them, got him on loan and got him for a nice cheap price of 7 million.

I may send Lukaku out on loan, I don't know yet. As Hilario has gone, I still have Turnbull so gonna loan out Delac but keep Courtois. I agree with you about Terry but encase he gets injured, I realise I have David Luiz and Ivanovic but I would want to get someone younger maybe 22/23 as Bruma is out on loan; although I can recall him, I'd rather not at the moment. I'm going to loan out Chalobah as well to a Championship team so he can gain experience. I may loan out McEachran as well so he can also gain experience. I might look out for Varane actually thanks
i think you should keep an eye on connor clifford if you still have him . regarding your centre back issue i suggest Kader Mangane or Mohamadou Sakho .
I still have Connor Clifford. I did loan him out in the second half of the season to Watford. I'll certainly keep an eye on him and play him more in Carling and FA Cup games depending who we play. I'll also use him in pointless Champions League games and some Premier League games as well. I put in a £18m bid for Sakho but PSG rejected the offer and has now signed a new contract.
i didnt realise there were such things as pointless champions league games . do u have any targets in mind your looking at ??
pointless champions league games is like if i've already qualified for the knockout stages or teams i know i could beat using my 2nd string not really though i'll be getting rid of malouda and benayoun should anyone make a bid for them. i've signed thiago from barcelona but going to loan him out as i have eriksen and mata who can play there. i only got thiago as a hot prospect as he is still quite young. if malouda goes and benayoun and if i loan mceachran and connor clifford i might bring in a cm as lampard isn't getting younger, essien gets injured quite a lot and raul meireles is still good enough for us but not getting younger as well. i'll see what happens.
#42252 Newcastleforlife : try get him in installments , hes amazing (Hulk) will pay of he was my top goalscorer and assister for chelsea ^^ oh and sturridge develops and plays very good in the futurei always sign people on installments. great way to get players. highly recommend.
i totall disagree. i dont really do installments as it puts your club in debt
