Hi there! I've been recently trying to upload pictures for my story with Leicester City. I have been trying to upload images of players from the internet. To do this, i have gone on to google images and gone on to see full size image. Then, I have copied the URL link, so that when im doing the story, i click on PICTURE on the list of options, and then pasted the URL into there. however, i only get the URL link pasted in words, and cant see the picture. Any Suggestions?? Would be a great help. Thanks.
ps. How do you u[load your screenshots??
Uploading it from the internet (Usually Imgur.com is the best idea and is what i used my Woking FC story for) Just put, at the start of a picture link, [img] and at the end, .png[/imgy] <--- without the y
Should be job done.[/img]

I'd advise against copying links from Google image search. Instead save the pictures you want and upload them to your personal file space here on fmscout.com or on various free image hosting sites such as imageshack or imgur.
I recommend reading my
tutorial on Football Manager Screenshots.
Then also have a look on this article:
bbcode tags and reusable icons for your posts.

hmmm, sorry that my suggestions didn't help.
I suggest that you actually download the pictures that you want from google to your computer, and then re-host them on imageshack or another picture hosting site. its probably best to do this with your FM screenshots also, then simply copy the URL provided between the [img] tags, as Atreidas said, and it should work.
e.g. the URL for this picture (a CD of FM 2012) is
http://www.covershut.com/cd_covers/Football-Manager-2012-2011-Polish-Cd-Cover-60433.jpg
if you put the tags [img] and [/imgy] (without the y) then you should get this...
http://www.covershut.com/cd_covers/Football-Manager-2012-2011-Polish-Cd-Cover-60433.jpg
Hope this helps![/img][/img]

this may seem really stupid, but where do i put the [img] and [/img] ??
before and after the URL
so
http://www.covershut.com/cd_covers/Football-Manager-2012-2011-Polish-Cd-Cover-60433.jpg
becomes
{img}http://www.covershut.com/cd_covers/Football-Manager-2012-2011-Polish-Cd-Cover-60433.jpg{/img}
but with square brackets instead of {}
