Oldham 2:0 Eastleigh
First game of the season and a very disappointing performance. I hope this is just because the team has yet to gel. The only positive is that we had 59% of the ball but could not create any chances.
Watford 3:1 Eastleigh (League cup 1st Round)
Nice to get a goal and it came from Max Power. Not bothered by being out of the cup this early as I’m not going to win it.
Eastleigh 1:1 Hartlepool
Great to get the first point on the board and once again the goal came from the right midfielder Max Power. He didn’t look the best buy but if he keeps scoring I’m not going to complain.
Middlesbrough 2:0 Eastleigh
Nobody expected me to get anything from this game anyway but having Kezos sent off on 6 minutes did not help. Even with 10 men my team still looked strong but the home team were just a bit too clinical.
Eastleigh 2:1 Bristol Rovers
Finally my first win of the season. Mozika and Power getting the goals to take the 3 points. Massive possession again was great to see however a big concern is the fact the strikers are yet to pose a threat.
Northampton 1:2 Eastleigh
Concern over. Adam nets the goals on 69 and the 90th minute to get a fantastic away win. The team looks like it’s starting to gel which is great to see so early in the campaign.
Monthly Summary: The month started woeful to say the least. But the last two games of the month changed it all around gaining 6 points. Hopefully September will bring more points.
Hey, just wondering if you progressed with this game at all? I went on a similar adventure taking Banbury Utd (I changed the editor and put them in Blue Square South)to league 1. It took me five years however!
