Cech, Vrsaljko, Cahill, Terry, Bertrand, Lampard, Ramires, Sturridge, Mata, Malouda, Torres

Subs Used - Felipe Anderson, Kalou, Drogba

Man of the match - Paul Robinson (Blackburn Rovers)

Another good win and the current formation seems to be working well. Goals from Daniel Sturridge and John Terry gave us the three points today.
Injury News

Juan Mata has torn his groin muscle and will be out for 6 weeks.
UEFA Champions League - First Knockout Round

Not the easiest of draws for us. The obvious talent is Eden Hazard but they also have some other good players so it should be an interesting couple of matches.
Barclays Premier League

Arsenal 4 - 0 Chelsea

4-2-3-1
Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole, Lampard, Ramires, Sturridge, Felipe Anderson, Malouda, Torres

Subs Used - Kalou, Drogba

Man of the match - Walter Montillo (Arsenal)

Funny enough this was a pretty even game, except Arsenal seemed to take all their chances.

4-3-3
Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Ramires, Kalou, Malouda, Torres

Subs Used - Drogba

Embarrassed. The team were awful all over the pitch. Fernando Torres scored our goal.
Barclays Premier League

Chelsea 1 - 0 Liverpool

4-3-3
Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Cole, Mikel, Lampard, Meireles, Kalou, Malouda, Torres

Subs Used - Felipe Anderson, Cahill, Drogba

Man of the match - Martin Skrtel (Liverpool)

A good win amongst the recent batterings. Didier Drogba came off the bench to score the winning goal and give us a much needed win. With the transfer window just around the corner I think I may have to do some business.
hmm seems like your strikers are not taking your chances well i'd say sell malouda and drogba(especially to cash in as his contract is over)and maybe buy a striker who has been in top form ---- edinson cavani would be the best.

Florent Malouda will be sold in January. I don't think I will get a fee for Didier Drogba, all the clubs know his contract is ending so none of them would bid. I would love to sign Edinson Cavani but in all honesty he is out of my price range.
#47906 patrick1 : I'm able to recall Bruma so thats a bit strange that you're unable to. ah fair enough about bosingwa but whose your sub defenders? as you have the update obviously not alex cause hes at PSG and you sold bosingwa and paulo ferreira.

My current defence looks like this -

RB - Branislav Ivanovic
RB - Sime Vrsaljko
LB - Ashley Cole
LB - Ryan Bertrand
CB - John Terry
CB - David Luiz
CB - Gary Cahill
CB - Nathaniel Chalobah (Academy Player)
I would see about getting Cavani or Neymar in the summer, in the mean time you should give Lukaku a go, he looks like a future Drogba for sure
Get leonardo Damaio, absolute beast of a striker, plays for Internaciol. Only striker who can match cavani goalscoring, at least for me anyway.

They are both good players but I don't have that much of a budget to afford either of them. Romelu Lukaku is one for the future and he will get his chances. We seem to be having our 'blip' at the moment and the top six in the league are only separated by one point.
I would get Kadlec from Sparta Prague; he's young, bags of potential, scores plenty and is cheap as well not too pricey.

I have scouted him several times and he has great stats. He is someone I will be looking at closely leading up to the transfer window. I might replace Didier Drogba with Daniel Sturridge and buy an out and out attacking right winger. No concrete decision has been made yet.

He joined FC Porto for £7,000,000 at the start of the season.
