Always had a problem travelling to the Emirates in past games and this proved no different, the most even game so far this season. Robin Van Persie put Arsenal ahead midway through the first half on a 2nd attempt after De Gea pulled off an amazing save from close range. We stayed in the game and continued to press and we got our reward soon after the restart when Hernandez slotted home, Both teams matched up to one another in every way but it was Arsenal that found the gap to put Arsenal ahead with 20mins to go through Song. We continued to press & 4mins from time Nani picked out Rooney who found himself suprisingly in loads of space to curve his shot into the bottom left hand corner. All in all a fair result and great game of football.

Full Time: 2-2

Id appreciate any feedback on my season so far, any advice would be welcome :)
Your doing well mate! :)
I think a good back up right back and left winger would help. Try looking at Sime Vrsaljko at Dinamo and Antoine Griezman at Real Sociadad (Not sure if the spellings are correct). Good luck.
Any young english talent to recommend? :)

Ryan Bertrand, Nathaniel Chalobah, Jack Rodwell, Ross Barkley, Adam Campbell, Luke Shaw...
Cheers bud il have alook into them.
looking good so far :D.

i would suggest you dont buy sime vrsaljko or felipe anderson because everyone buys them in these stories.
regarding player you could buy for a better right back try signing cesar azpilicueta from marseille. also try bringing in a few youngsters from your reserves or 18s as united a very strong youth facitlites
Injury Update:Dimitar Berbatov out for 2 weeks with a twisted knee.

Champions League Group A:Vs Shakhtar (Away)

4-5-1 CL
De Gea
Jones
Ferdinand
Vidic (83)
Evra (45)
Valencia
Anderson
Fletcher (73)
Carrick
Nani
Rooney

Substitutes: Fabio (45) Giggs (73) Smalling (45)

We had a reserve game the night before & i originally had Anderson available for that to get match fit, however i removed him from that with a view of him starting this game..and what a decision it proved to be! Shakhtar have class all over from Willian to Douglas Costa to Adriano and they were a real challenge. First 10mins was all us pressing the home sides defence however they soon got into there stride and dominated the rest of the first half grabbing a goal towards the end of that half through Willian, Rooney got us level on the stroke of half time against the run of play. We played much better in the 2nd half, Shakhtar still had there chances but we got closer and closer and when Valencia played Anderson in on goal just past the hour mark we took that chance! We managed to see out the game taking a more cautious approach and 3 valuable points back home. Anderson bossed the midfield.

Premier League:Vs Wigan Athletic (Home)

4-4-2 Attack
De Gea
Smalling
Evans
Vidic
Evra
Valencia (61)
Anderson (61)
Fletcher
Nani
Welbeck
Rooney

Substitutes: Young (61) Pogba (61)

Put Paul Pogba on the bench with the view of getting him on at some point. Game started brightly for us and remained that way for pretty much the full 90mins, Valencia gave us the lead after quarter of an hour * just past the half hour mark it was 2-0 through Wayne Rooney's 8th goal of the season. Welbeck got himself 2 goals in the 2nd half either side of a penalty scored by Wigan's Hugo Rodallega, courtesy of a silly challenge by Jonny Evans. Another 3 points in the bag and still unbeaten.

Full Time: 4-1

De Gea
Smalling
Evans
Vidic
Evra
Valencia
Anderson
Fletcher (59)
Nani
Welbeck (71)
Rooney

Substitutes: Cleverley (59) Hernandez (71)

With just 2 wins from United's last 10 visits to Ewood Park this wasn't going to be a fixture taken lightly despite Blackburn in 19th place with just a point from there opening 7 games. We started strong with a couple of early chances, the home side cuden't get control of the game & it got worse when Yakubu was sent off after 20mins after a horror tackle on Evra. Though the odds were stacked against them we struggled to break them down until 10mins from time when N'zonzi dispossesed Hernandez but passed it straight to Rooney who found the bottom left of the net. Nervy finish but we came away with 3 points.

Champions League Group A:Vs Otelu Galati (Away)

4-5-1 CL
Lindegaard
Jones
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra
Valencia
Carrick
Cleverley
Giggs (45)
Young
Rooney (67)

Substitutes: Park (45) Welbeck (69)

I was expecting the 3 points from this game tonight and for us to be top of our group & thats exactly what happened. The home side were never really in the game, a first half goal from Wayne Rooney (his 10th of the season) and 2 second half goals the first an own goal by keeper Mihai & Valencia soon afterwards sealed the win despite Coroians free kick consolation & kept us top of the pack and well on course for the knockout stages.

Full Time: 1-3

Rooney

Substitutes: Giggs (76) Nani (76)

With 4 changes from the league win at Ewood park i felt another sweep of the opposition was in order..i was wrong. Our chances in front of goal were disappointingly wasted & with the quality of the side i put out i expected much better. 15mins from time i brought on Giggs and Nani to add abit more energy to the game but it didnt make much difference. I made the risk of pushing more men forward towards the end and thank god it payed of when Cleverley struck it deflected into Hernandez's path to poke home. A disappointing performance from us with 24 shot attempts and only a scrappy last minute goal to count for.

Full Time: 1-0

Javier Hernandez (7.3)
Im gunna be honest here and want people's opinions on this..Ive been looking at the possibility of Connor Wickham for a future striker, United could do with a tall frontman & i can see him being a very good player in the next couple of seasons.
