What an amazing player! a true charm stepping up when truly needed, he is for me what Van Persie is to Arsenal in the real world now, the player i can count on for goals. His record has now come to become 20 goals in 17 games, let me say that again 20 goals in 17 games! Add on 5 assists and you have the stats you need to know for my players first season where he is starting games.



A goldenboy up front need a supplier and here we have him, my midfield warrior, assist king. This boy makes magic happen on the pitch and leaves the glory of the goal to someone else, with the stats of 5 goals and 13 assists, yes, I'm gonna say it again here too, 5 goals and 13 assists in 18 games! This gem truly deserves his 6 man of the match awards and undoubtedly has a helping foot in the 5 man of the match awards rewarded to Hernández.

A transfer embargo has been laid on the club as Mr. Fry is looking to buy the club and become my new chairman. Perhaps this will end up being great with my current chairman Mr. Hill-Wood is sitting on his wallet, can just hope for it. Updates will follow on this subject as more information comes.

Another game update ending in a streak breaker, a run of 12 games this time and with no surprise it was one of the big four that knocked me of my path.

A tough fixture was up ahead, Manchester city at City of Manchester Stadium.

This was a game where City had the pressure but couldn't turn it into chances, while Arsenal managed to get to chances, very few of them ended up on goal and those that did was easy pickings for Foster. The game ended 0-0 after 90 minutes, so was time for a change in the Arsenal squad. Bring in Robin Van Persie to accompany Hernandez on top as a Complete Forward in an assist role.

We would have to wait until the 113th minute before a goal would come, an easy tap in by Walcott after a brilliant cross made, finally it was 0-1! After the goal Arsenal set themselves very defensively witch let City get higher up on the pitch, but for no good, the result ended 0-1 and Arsenal are trough to the next round and will meet Liverpool in the Semi-Final.

With five games since last time and 18 goals scored by my Arsenal team there has been good performances by my players. Van Persie is now stepping up during the drought of Hernandez, this is what I have been missing, 2 players that can step in eachothers shoes when the other is having some inevitable downtime.

Have to include a segment here about another rival game, the Manchester derby between United and City. This game ended up a massive 7-0 victory to United and 6 of the goals scored in the first half! just to make it worse for the boys in blue, United even had a red card... Amazing

The return fixture against Liverpool in the League Cup has been played, the first leg ended 3-3 at Emirates Stadium, so was a big job that had to be don at Anfield. Theo Walcott put one behind reina in the 21st minute, after that there was a midfield war with chances going both ways. Every other chance failed to pay off so the result ended at 0-1 sending the Gunners into the League Cup Final against Q.P.R. or West Brom.

My team drew Spartak Moscow in the first knockout round in the Europa League, this wasn't the easiest of games despite what the media said about it being an easy game for me. Valerey Karpin, Spartak's manager told the media "He is dreaming if he thinks Arsenal can win this mach". This didn't help with how the game ended up being played, was some dirtiness, that's for sure.

First game was away at Luzhniki, where Gervinho had a flaming start to his game by scoring in the 3rd minute and just 4 minutes later putting another one past Silva in goal. Things started looking less bright when Vermalen had to go off in the 44th minute with a hip injury that will put him in the stands for 2 months.
the 2nd half wasn't very eventfull, the only thing is when Spartak pulled one back when Biryukov scored a goal in the 87th minute.

Spartak Moscow 1-2 Arsenal

The return fixture at Emirates, we had all to play for with a lead in the bag and 2 away goals. It all starts badly, with Carcela putting one behind Ter Stegen in the 16th minute. In the 26 minute Walcott gets a great shot away that goes in the post and bounces off their goalkeeper and in to goal, 1-1.
RED CARD, Fernando gets sent off after a horror tackle made leaving my team with 10 men and a narrow lead to defend. Just before half time Koscielny puts one in from a corner giving us the upper hand when the teams go to half time. Biggest event in the 2nd half was when Bruno Costa got sent off after his 2nd yellow card.

A good set of games now, a good streak yet again and I'm trough in the Europa League. On an injury note, Song is out for 3-4 months with a torn calf muscle, so will have to battle on without him.

Stumbled upon my first defeat in 11 games in Premier League, Everton became too much after Muniain got himself sent off after a horrendous tackle in the 30th minute. To make the matter worse the goal came in the closing minutes of the match. But on the bright side i managed to beat Tottenham! Always a mood booster.

The race for the title is closing in with 2 points separating me from the no 1 spot, might be a season finale coming up! A stupid loss against Birmingham is the reason I aren't no 1 at the moment, rested alot of players and got punished for it.
