Europa League - Group A - 29/09/11
Stade Rennais FC 1 - 0 Tottenham Hotspur
(4-4-1-1) Friedel, Vrsaljko, Toloi, Dawson, Digne, Dos Santos, Modric, Sandro, Bale, Van Der Vaart, Adebayor
Subs Used - Walker, Verratti, Defoe
A difficult away fixture and the best team won. Sime Vrsaljko was sent off after eighty minutes and we then conceded a minute later. It would be harsh to blame the youngster though because we were second best throughout the whole match.

Ouch you seem to have a lot of injuries! Tough! I'm using Spurs too, got Javier Saviola on loan from SLB to back-up Ade and Defoe

We keep picking little knocks but thankfully none of them have been serious. Jermain Defoe is my top scorer as Emmanuel Adebayor and Louis Saha just cannot find any form. There will hopefully be some business in the January transfer window.

A massive result against our fierce rivals. Luka Modric scored our goal. We had more possession, twenty shots to their four and best of all, we completed more passes. A great team performance which put us top of the league.
