#50521 smallboy : So with my Barca game already crashed, I decided to start another game back to managing Manchester United. A squad that I’m most familiar with.

Not much of a transfer will be done in this first half of the season as most of the positions are well covered and I also have the backing of my youth squad. Also, with not much transfer budget, I just have to wait for the board to pump in some cash.

As for my tactics, will adopt the same 2 formations that I’ve been using all this while. 4-3-3 and 4-3-3 (counter).

Man Utd had to work double hard this evening as they saw off determine Bolton with a 5-4 win in penalty shootout after the match ended 1-1 in normal time. Bolton started brightly and were ahead but Man Utd equalised through Carlos Fierro first goal for Man Utd.

Welbeck and Vidic missed their penalty shot and Muamba who had to score to keep Bolton in the game saw his attempt cannoned back off the crossbar. Lucky Man Utd to survive the scare.

I decided to change my formation by having the wingers the role of inside forward. It was a slow start due to the new formation and David Trezeguet could have gave Newcastle the lead from a penalty spot but he put the ball wide. Man Utd eventually won the game 3-0 with Rooney scoring two goals.
