I'm looking for more online football manager games , I prefer playing agaist real people.

Best so far I have is :

1) footballboss.net (My favorite closest to FM with real players/teams, very addictive)
2) itsagoal.com (Good but not real players or teams)
3) hattrick.org (Again fun but not real players)

Any other suggestions ? Perhaps we can make a list ...

Good fun game, easy to get the hang of but ideally you'll have to get on every day.

strikermanager.com

I'm addicted to this. It's got a lot of former FM players.

Players aren't with real names, but mainly real managers. Definitely worth trying.

There's a game improving a lot these last few years.
Check it out, it's trophymanager.com ;)

Players/Teams aren't real, but you develop your stadium/academy/training ground, have your staff, buy/sell players, make tactics, national teams, etc.. etc.. :)
I just realized that with Hattrick your tactics actually matter considerably. I don't mean that I think that playing with a 5-5-0 and a 0-5-5 has no difference... I just thought you could never defeat a team that's so obviously stronger.

I got promoted to the next league and started taking points away from people I wouldn't even CONSIDER putting myself on the same level. It's mainly because people can't alternate tactics quickly, so there's no one doing it, and because almost everyone on the planet favours a "direct, attacking style of football" playing against a Chelsea tactic throws them off a bit... especially when everyone else loses half their abilities because of stamina, and I'm going strong in the 90th minute :)

Results recently?

1-2 win against someone promoted with me...
0-0 against someone who was in the top three last season...
2-1 loss against last year's champion.
0-1 loss against someone in the middle
0-1 win against last year's runner up

So... it looks like I'm staying up this season... :)
.....
Okay.
