who will win the Euros? (36 votes)
Ok people heres the update...
I have decided not to go into so much detail in every game as this story is more about the manager and his succes etc but anything you want to know just ask. I will try and post what i think people will like to see.

Im currently in 1st position in the League, P19 W16 D1 L2 GF 54 GA 18

Im a bit dissapointed in the goals against as its nearly a goal conceded very game, but on the other hand i have gone 12 games unbeaten and a run of 7 games won in a row which is a new division record.

Currently no jobs have been offered to me, ive been keeping an eye on the job front but wont make a decision till end of the season, ideally id like to prove myself in the Liga Alecante but if right job comes i will take it.

My contract runs till 2013 and i dont think i will sign another one...
Tenerife are Second division B1 CHAMPIONS!!!

They just pipped us to the title and now we have dreaded playoffs...they had such a mean defence all season absolutely solid and deserved it really!! Where as we had the best free flowing attack.

Should Ruben Conista stay at Castilla for next season if they get promoted? or should he always be looking forward for the next step?

If Castilla dont get promoted Ruben will have to seriously look at his options as he stated in a Spanish magazine..."Managing a club like Castilla is a dream but as we are a feeder club for Madrid we will forever be in their shadows, and i want complete control of my team, not to have a player performing amazingly and then have him plucked away from me to play in La Liga and im left seething and chasing someone else".

This interview was a real eye opener to Castilla fans...and shows how Ruben feels.
loving loving loving, please dont stop! (this sounded a little bit perverse i know, but keep going xD
CASTILLA have been promoted to Liga Adelante!!!

A dramatic 4-3 aggregate win against Cadiz sealed it after the dramatic stages of the play offs!!

Castilla will now officially have 2 el classico derbys against barcelona B.

Ruben Conista is rumoured to be weighing up his options but its likely he will stay.
i think its best for you if you stay. if you bring stability to that team and stay at liga adelante you are more likely to get job offers from other clubs. best of luck mate! following this one closely!
After a successful season for Castilla, Wellington Nem has been recalled to the first team after notching up 11 goals and 18 assists this season, it's looking doubtful I'll get him on loan again next season.
Jese has been promoted too which is a big blow as he's an explosive striker.
Felipe Anderson & Wellington have gone on a well earned holiday and will return to their clubs Santos & Flumienese. I would love to bring these two in again next season but I'm not convinced I will be given the finances to do this.

Pedro Mosquera was player of the season, the 22 year old is on loan from Getafeband isn't needed there, so he will be sure to attract interest from clubs with more money than Castilla!!!

Pablo Counago left the club 3 games before the end of the season as he wanted first team football- free transfer.

My job status is currently Untouchable but I was told to address te wage bill as soon as possible which I have succeeded in doing, the board look happy and this might let some pennies falls way ;)

Andre villas boas has taken charge at Malaga which could take that club to next level, a club who are signing my best right back Daniel Carvajal in 6 days time which I had no control over. This deal was completed at start of the season but he has been a professional and performed with average ratings of 7.09
CASTILLA TEAM OF THE YEAR!!!

Jesus
Carvajal. Pedro mendes. Ivan Gonzalez. Dodo

Felipe Anderson. Wellington.

Jaunfran. Mosquera Wellington Nem

Jese

60% possession every game!!
what about Enzo Zidane ? . do you still have him
Enzo Zidane wasn't there when I started :s dont know why he wasn't in game!! He has been before because I've bought him.
End of Season Report!!!

Mosquera has left the club going back to Getafe and is now important first team player, so chances are i wont get my key playmaker back...Ivan Gonzalez my rock at the back has gone back to Malaga. Pedro Mendes my other rock at CB has returned to Sporting Lisbon.

Ruben is worried about the lack of backing from the board here at Castilla, letting these players go with no funds to replace them is not a good way to prepare for a season which is going to be very tough!!

After returning to Santos after his holiday, Felipe Anderson stated he was upset to leave Castilla, there is hope yet that i may get him back :)

JuanFran my explosive winger who notched 18 goals last season announced he was leaving real madrid...with movement in my pants i jumped to hang on to him and offered a contract at Castilla till 2015 and it was accepted!!!

Ruben Conista offered new contract until 2015....CONTRACT REJECTED!!
I have found Enzo Zidane...he was in the u19's which i forgot was there...i only thought Real MAdrid , Castilla, Real Madrid CFC exsisted lol...

I have promoted Enzo as i think he is ready for the test.
Other players promoted:

Raul De Tomas
Gonzalo Melero
Jaume
Ivan Saez
First match of the new season will be against newly relegated....Real Betis.

This couldnt be anymore of a test...we will need to prepare hard and be focused.
SEASON UPDATE!!

After 7 games we are 17th, we had a great start but our form has dipped in the last 5 games, i have let the team know we cannot let our heads drop if we want to be in this league next season...all the players reacted well so lets see what happens.

Castilla 3-1 Betis
Las Palmas 0-2 Castilla
Castilla 1-2 Real Union
Cartagena 2-0 Castilla
Gimnastic 2-0 Castilla
Castilla 0-2 Girona
Castilla 0-2 Alaves

A stunning start in first 2 games but we have been undone since then and a real reality check. The team needs to get back on track and stabalise itself in this league...
Reports of friction between the board and Conista are circulating in the media...as Conista answers questions in a Spanish magazine...Conista not being one to hide his feelings stated:

" Me and the chairman dont see eye to eye anymore, he has come to me critisising our recent performances which have been unacceptable i know, but this shouldnt happen after a match with the players in the dressing room with me".
"I feel Real Madrid isnt backing Castilla in the way it should,we are left to pick up the peices when our best players are allowed to leave, i am not allowed to make any movement in the transfer market as the wage bill is too high but yet they keep giving me players on £16k a week".

Finally the journalist probed...."I hear Benfica have contacted your people?...your agent was spotted in lisbon this week"

Conista left the door open with his answer..."Well maybe a well run club would be too good to turn down..."

Castilla fans the next day called for Conista's head after reading this in the media....

What happens next?
After a month of speculation and tension....

Andre Villas-Boas's Malaga team are underpreforming in La Liga and he is duely sacked and likewise with the Valencia boss...meanwhile in England QPR sack Mark Hughes and Ruben Conista is linked with that job.

The time is finally here...Conista sends application to Malaga to succeed Villas-Boas, leaving the Real board seething and therefore offer Ruben an ultimatum apologise to the chairman or resign and with the two not speaking to eachother there was only one outcome!!

Ruben Conista Resigns!!!!

Now the search for a suitable club begins.....
