Young English Manager Louis Ross has no managing experience behind him but has recently completed his coaching badges and is looking for work.

Ross has dreampt of managerial greatness and now he is able to coach he is a step closer to realising his potential. A few jobs are available and New England in the MLS has taken Ross' interest. He has said to close friends and family that he won't stop until he is at the top and has a place in the hall of fame.

This is Louis Ross' journey to the summit of managerial glory, starting off searching for a management role, for that one club to take a chance on him and his footballing philosophy.
good luck man, looking forward to it :)
ROSS GETS NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION JOB

Ross will be taking control of The Revs and they lay 3 places from the bottom of the MLS Eastern Conference, two wins and a draw later and they find themselves 4 points off of a playoff place!

First three results

Revs 3 - 0 Philladelphia
just above the revs in the table, Ross' team beat Philladelphia comfortably.

Revs 3 - 1 D.C United
After going 1 down the Revs rallied back and scored three times. with DC in third place this was a great win!

Revs 2 - 2 Colorado
both teams pressed for goals so maybe a draw was a good result

PLEASE NOTE, this is more about Louis Ross' journey and not the teams he manages as he does not plan to be with some clubs long, they are seen as stepping stones almost, this does not detract from his passion about winning games and taking them as far as he can.

Thank you man! keep reading and enjoying :D

Louis Ross is using the abstract 4-3-3 formation, a creation of his own to try and bring success to New England

Ross' only loss has come to Columbus who top his conference and The Rev have just drew with NY Red Bulls too, who came back from 2 goals down, Ross was disappointed but still feels that his side can make the playoffs despite DC United's games in hand.

Ross' Revs finished 4th! he took over and the morale was low, and the team, on the back of 2 defeats was after 18 games wallowing in 7th. The playoffs beckon and New England Revolution have been turned around!

There was a bad patch of 5 games without a win, 3 draws and 2 defeats which started after the NY Red Bulls match which hindered a top 3 finish, but Ross managed to steer his lads back on track in the nick of time
good work mate, lets bring the title home next round!
The MLS Playoff dream is over

After guiding The Rev to the Playoff semi final after defeating FC Dallas in the Wildcard match 4-0 confidence was high and Ross was confident of a good run in the playoffs but his team were halted by Columbus, losing 2-1 at home and 3-1 away. The first match was close and Ross' boys held Columbus to 1-1 until the last minute where they conceded. The second leg Ross went all out, and after losing CB A J Soares at 2-1 down the game was over.

Louis is keeping a close watch on the Lyon managers job which seems insecure, although he does not feel he is completely ready and is warming to the idea of one more season of 'Soccer'

haha thank you mate, got my striker 15 goals in the 19 matches I was in control of, the majority of the time we pressed very well and got the ball back and went on the attack again!
The Tottenham and Udinese jobs have both become available, but Ross does not want to upset his current board by applying or declaring interest when he is not considered anywhere near a front-runner. The Lyon situation has cooled but his hometown club Bristol City job is looking like a good bet
ROSS LEAVES NEW ENGLAND REVS

Louis Ross has left New England Revolution after an agreement with the board, the media got hold of news that Ross applied for the vacancy at Bristol City and the board were seething. Ross wanted a new experience in his career and despite no titles in the USA Ross transformed the Revs into a mid table team into playoff contenders.

Ross has told his people that a move to America is something that still interests him.
ROSS JOINS BRISTOL CITY

Ross was approached by Bristol City and his first match vs. Portsmouth was called off due to heavy snow. He has from January onwards to turn their fortunes around. From 18th to as high as possible is the aim.
CAN ROSS WORK HIS MAGIC IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP???

Ross has moved Bristol City up to 17th at the moment from 19th, with a game in hand they could move up further, it would be a magnificent achievement to reach the play-offs and one which Ross is keeping in the back of his mind but knows his first priority is to secure Championship status for Bristol City. With no cup competitions to distract him Ross has just completed his first month in charge of the Bristol club and is hoping for his string of good results to continue. He will stay on at Bristol city for the season for sure and will assess his options after that, the deal is initially a two year deal but if other clubs come knocking or the MLS becomes an option he would probably return.

With a host of transfers (all loan) in under Ross he is playing a 3-5-2 formation which is solid and is working thus far
