After 9 games Ross' Palermo sit in 1st! beating AC Milan 3-0 on their last outing. They have 4 games from their 2 Champions League matches too, beating FC Copenhagen and drawing with Benfica. Lyon back to back the next two games should determine their fate in the competition.
Konoplyanka the Ukranian Summer signing has been a revelation in the middle of the front three which is Miccoli's position but he has been struggling with injury so Ross does not want the 34 year old being rushed back too soon. In his absence Konoplyanka has bagged 12 in 8 games! (not bad for a natural winger! with finishing of 11)

Palermo beat Inter 2-0 and beat Lyon 5-1 to top their CL group with 7 points at the moment.
Their last match was a loss vs. Parma, a penalty and a sending off cost them the game.
Ross' head has been turned by the vacant post at LA Galaxy who sit in 2nd in their conference, but his Parma project is not done.

A top table clash against Udinese was next and a 5-0 win for Palermo was just what was needed to put Ross' boys back on track! Niang getting a hat-trick and he is proving to be a brilliant buy for Ross.

After 17 games in Serie A Palermo sit top of the table with 43 points, Napoli are on 33 with a game in hand but Ross' boys do not look like throwing away this lead but there is a long, long way to go.

24 games played in Serie A and Palermo are 11 clear but Ross' boys have been knocked out of the Italian Cup, a Stevan Jovetic inspired Fiorentina beat them 2-0 and ahead of their Champions League match vs. Arsenal reports have linked Louis Ross with Man City following Rafa Benitez's sacking... This saga left Ross at Palermo, he did not openly express interest in any clubs and despite now being knocked out of the Champions league after losing to arsenal 5-2 on aggregate he remains confident he can lead Palermo to Serie A success and leaving the retiring Miccoli with a happy ending to his final season.

I holidayed Louis Ross and did not realise that the option to apply at other clubs was on so over a few weeks he was at Juventus, Valencia and HSV !!! i resigned and then holidayed to so options like that would be available.
