Barkhuizen's deal with Golden Arrows has fallen through. His list of admirers now include Bloem Celtic and Carara Kicks.

I am hopeful that one, or both, of the clubs make an offer soon.

Both of my offers for players from the Pirates and Ajax CT were rejected by the players involved.

Focus will now need to be on increasing my reputation so that I can sign better players in the future.

The talk went well again and he has agreed to drop it (again), but no one has made a bid for him yet. I have Richard Ngobese, so I am well served now at goalie, but what sort of look is it to try and sell off both your captain and your vice captain ten days before the start of the season??

And just as Sniper99 warned me about, I am short a centre back and and right back, and I now need to register my thirty players for the group stages of the African Confederations Cup.

I have two fairly average right backs, and Barkhuizen, I just hope that will be enough!

EDIT: In the registration screen it says maximum of zero replacements? But in the main screen it says is it the selections for the group stage.

Guess I need to make it through group pool play first.

South African squad has just been announced, with only one player whom plays footy in this country. Why does my Board still only let me scout Africa????

My back office staff told me in an earlier meeting that Barkhuizen wasn't the most suitable vice captain.

I have now officially appointed centre back fixture Edgard as the new VC.

I am getting frustrated by this poaching of players by bigger clubs, and constantly having to bat away discussions about salaries. It might be different if I could afford to pay the bigger salaries, but I am constrained somewhat by the Board.

Bear in mind this is a player whom not twenty four earlier had been appointed vice captain.

Having dealt with Edgard and told him no, now Supersport are interested in my average backup right defender Bobbs.

Only another three weeks of this bl**dy transfer window.

Finally, a ray of sunshine on the horizon!



I'll be speaking to the Board about an expansion to the stadium. We currently have 15K capacity, but only 10K seated.
