After King Kenny being sacked it was announced that a once dominant force was looking for a young fresh manager to take them above the mediocre stage. The suprise man for the job was former Liverpool player Cameron Findlay. Findlay played for Liverpool for 3 years and has been out of the game for 2 but will now hold a major task in bringing Liverpool back to the top. With the board expecting at least Europa League football next season, here's hoping there's a fairy tale ending.
I'm now in my second season as LFC manager. The first season went well but did we manage to win a trophy ot qualify for europe? Let's find out!
Did everyone get the link ok? New to the page so not so sure about photos etc etc...
any help? :)
Get Carlos Fierro for free, and get sam vrsajsdlknhsasdjkl I dont remember her name but it becomes one of the best players.

You need to put the URL of the picture in the middle of this: [img] [/img]

Vertonghen is a great player and 8 Mil is a bargain for him. I wouldnt have sold Agger though, especiallt for 16 Mil. He is worth a lot more than that. I find that Willian from Shaktar Donetsk is a great attacking midfielder. He has great stats and is very versatile. Ivica Olic usually goes on a free contract after the first season if you are looking for a prolific striker. And make sure you get Abdy Carroll's morale as high as possible! Thats how you get him to play good. Other than that, good luck and YNWA!

1st half of last season's results.
Key notes:
For Man Utd game Reina was injured and sadly had to put in Doni who had a howler.
Best win so far definetely Man City win.
We sat in 3rd place behind Arsenal and Manchester United with Everton in 4th and WOLVES in 5th!
Thanks for the comments by the way!
Fierro- As i'm currently in my 2nd season he's no longer available on a free although I'll have a look at the scout report.
Agger- asked for 20m but they bidded 16m so just accepted it. Hoping to put my own stamp on the team.
Vertonghen- By far one of the best CBs out there and a true bargain too.
Willian- Too expensive.
Andy Carroll- Has been average for me scoring 5 in 22 games although a 16 minute hat-trick against Sunderland is always helpful.
Ivaca Olic- Too slow to react and was snapped up by CSKA Moskow

Its the end of the season but did Findlays boys manage to qualify for the Champions League?
Or did they have to accept the Europa League?
In the next update all is revealed......

We did it!!!!!!!

Liverpool held on to qualify for the biggest club cometition in the world.
In a press-confrence manager Cameron Findlay told the press that fans can dream of days like Instanbul 2005. He also said that he would be improving in the summer with faces going in and out of Anfield.
Key notes:
Jamie Carragher and Olof Mellberg both agree new deals as player/coach.
Liverpool agree pre contract deals with Phillip Hoffman, Jose Campana and Zakaria Labyad. The latter rejecting Juventus and Arsenal to sign for the reds long term plan.
Cameron Findlay sign new 4-year deal as Liverpool manager.
Awards:
Golden Glove: Jose Manuel Reina with 21/37 clean sheets.
Player of the year: RVP with 24 goals and 10 assists in 30 games.
Manager of the year: Sir Alex Ferguson ( as normal FA biased decisions ;) )
Players player of the year: Nani with 9 goals and 11 assists in 35 games
Players young player of the year: Gervinho with 10 goals and 9 assists in 31 games.
Tune in to the next episode for a Transfer Special!
P.S does anyone know how Campana, Labyad or Hoffman will perform?
Season 2012/13:
TRANSFER SPECIAL!
After finishing 3rd in my first season i expected get a better than average transfer budget. Sadly the shrewd Mr Werner gave me exactly £0 to spend. It was obvious I would have to sell to buy.
Transfers Out:
Stewart Downing

http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Downing.jpg
Went on loan to Arsenal for £2.5 million after only playing 8 league games last season, all substitute appearances. Hopefully impressess as no buy clause agreed.

Doni
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/doni-1.jpg

Left in a £1 million deal to newcomers Southampton. Played 4 times in the league last season, due to Reina injury, including the 5-0 lost to the mancs. Good riddence.

Martin Skrtel
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Skrtel.jpg

Amassed only 4 league games last season. To be honest I was very suprised to get £5 million for him but good luck to him and Wolves.

Jordan Henderson
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Henderson.jpg

Joins Blackburn in a loan deal with a £2.5 million fee. Highly unimpressive last season so good top give him some game time. No buy clause agreed.

Jay Spearing
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/JaySpearing.jpg

Didn't make a single appearance for me and leaves on a £3 million deal to Swansea.

Brad Jones
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Jones.jpg

Although I highly respect the player in real life, he's practically worthless on the game. Aston Villa parted with £900k to take him to Villa Park.

Dani Pacheco
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Pacheco.jpg

Leaves after 5 years and 5 appearances for £1.7 million to Lecce after a loan spell at Rayo.

Loans(no fee):

Marcel Hibner Accrington S
Kriztian Adorjan Accrington S
Conor Coady Accrington S
Robbie Cotton Coventy City
Nathan Eccleston Doncaster R
Charlie Adam QPR
Ignacio Camacho Zargoza

Clearly using my link with Accrington S to the full extent!

Frees:

Fabio Aurelio QPR
Stephen Darby Charlton
David Amoo -
Michael Roberts -
Tom Walsh -
Michael Ngoo Gillingham
Jamie Stephens Oxford
Stephen Sama -
Matt McGiveron -
Daniel Ward -
Jakub Sokolik Stevenage
Emmanuel Mendy -

I knew this was going to be a long summer attempting to find bargains and frees. After collecting £16.5 million in transfers (getting 45% of it) heres how I spent my money.
Transfers In:

Philipp Hofman
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Hoffman.jpg

Signed on a pre-contract from Schalke, the 19 year old, who plays like Andy Carrol, has good potential and has penned a 5 year deal. " We can't wait to show the Kop Philipp and I'm confident they'll love him," said Reds boss Cameron Findlay, " He's a determined young lad and hopefully if he works hard enough he'll get his chance."

Zakaria Labyad
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Labyad.jpg

Also signed on a pre-contract, rejecting an offer from Juventus in the process to sign a 3 year deal. Also a youngster with huge potential and admittably miles better than Hofman. " If a 19 year old has picked up 8 caps for his country that tells you something," commented Mr Findlay, " He's got great experience for his age and he'll be a great addition to the squad.

Jose Campana
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Campana.jpg

My last pre-contract signing was the former Spain U-19s captain and now U21 international. Coaches are highly impressed with him, giving him a 4- star rating. " He's got the potential to be a world-class player, so to bring him here to Liverpool is amazing," said excited Cameron," We can see his vision as a player and he can see ours as a club, so this could be a partnership made in heaven," laughed Findlay.

Daniel Van Buyten
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Buyten.jpg

Centre-back Van Buten joins on a free, signing a 1- year deal. The expierenced 34 year old has played 364 times in his career. Mr Findlay said " Signing a player with Daniel's expierence is a no brainer, he's going to be great help the youngsters and hopefully a great help to the team too."
Estaban Granero
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Granero.jpg

The long term target signs on a £1.3 million loan deal. Our 1st cash deal is hopefully a shrewd one. "Estaban will be a great signing and is sure to give us more options next season," said the man who signed the 25 year old," I can see the loan spell being a succesful one and hopefully a permanent one."

Stuart Taylor
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Taylor.jpg

The 31 year old journeyman completes a 1 year-deal as back up to Jose. " Stuarts expierence will prove pivotal as our back-up keeper," Findlay smiled, " He's a good lad and I'm sure he's going to push Jose all the way for the No.1 spot," he said.

Andrey Arshavin
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Arshavin.jpg

Our biggest signing after completing a £1.7 million deal to Anfield. The 31 year old has clearly got the quality, it's just if he shows it that counts. Smug Cameron Finday said," To get a player of Andrey's calibre for as cheap as we did is a great coup, hopefully he proves Arsene wrong and shows just how great a player he is."

Christian Derflinger
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Deflinger.jpg

The Austrian U-19s player, who plays like team-mate Andrey Arshavin, joins on a 2 year youth deal after leaving Bayern Munich. " To bring such a talented young man to Anfield excites not only me but the coaches too," his manager said," If he lives up to his potential Christian Derflinger will be a household name."

Dominic Vose
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Vose.jpg

Signing a 1 year deal, Dominic, who is tipped to be the next Paul Gascoine, will be tested in the reserves before his long-term future is decided. Hopefully a good spell could end up in a larger contract. Findlay commented " Dominic will work hard and if he does good he could well see his contract extended beyond next year."

Danijel Pranjic
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/Pranjic.jpg

The 51 capped Croatian joins on a 1 year deal and will be back up to our centre-midfielders. "The way he plays fits in to our system perfectly and hopefully he's going to have a big impact immediately," Findlay said confidently.

Joan Angel Roman
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/AngelRoman.jpg

The 19 year old Spanish midfielder, who is labelled the next Guti, has joined us on a 1 year youth contract. " He's going to be a world beater one day and hopefully its at Liverpool," his ecstatic manager said," We can see the potential in him and hopefully we'll make him the player he wants to be."

Michael Ballack
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/ballack.jpg

The vastly expierenced centre midfielder joins on a 1 year deal. The former Chelsea playmaker will put something different on the table and hopefully we can use that to our advantage. "Michael will prove the doubters wrong and had unfinished business in England, his agent confirmed that when approaching me " confirmed Findlay," Let's hope he thrives under the pressure and drives us to glory."

Gianluca Zambrotta
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/zambrotta.jpg

The expierenced right-back will act as cover to injury torn Glen Johnston. Signed on a 1 year deal and will probaly leave next summer. Reds boss Findlay said," Zambrotta comes here with a highly impressive CV and hopefully we can flourish it even more. I want him to end his career on a high, and hopefully here!"

Seydou Keita
http://i1153.photobucket.com/albums/p510/YNWA69/Liverpool%20players/keita.jpg

After Barcelona asked for £2.1 million after a loan spell last season I asked the board to function it for me and they agreed. Amazingly, bargain hunting Mr Werner completed the deal for a megre £1 million. " To get a player such as Seydou for as little as a million amazes me," announced stunned Cameron Findlay," He's going to play a big roll in how we play next season."
Anyone got any comments/views on my transfers?
Some good buys there especially considering you had next to no money and they should get you through the season but considering most of them were old you may have to be looking for replacements next season already.
I really like your post on transfers!! :) You've got some quality signings in there - i.e Ashavin who is a total beast on fm, granero, keita. I think ballack is too old to do you much good. Good luck in your story anyway. :P
