After being beaten to the Premier League Title by fierce rivals Manchester City, the legendary Scotsman decided to bring a sad end to one of the most glorious careers ever.
He, however had a replacement ready to be called up when he saw fit, his name being Josh Sleightholm (Yes guys, it is me if you remember me) A young, fresh minded man who was a descendant of Alex being his Nephew. Alex had recognised he had most of the talents that he himself did before venturing into management, the mind games, the eye for a good player, and being able to keep everybody in a good mood; Alex had realised this when he managed to calm down all 3 of his children and Alex’s grandchildren.
Alex had told the board, staff and players who he insisted should take over and they agreed and went ahead with it, all who needed to be told now where the fans.

Past Playing Experience:
-Goalkeeper from the age of 5, trained by Man Utd coaches just for fun (through his Uncle Alex).
-Played Sunday League football for Thirsk Falcons from the age of 5.
-Picked up by York City at the age of 14.
-Advanced through the first to stages and made it into the academy within a year.
-Left Sunday League team.
-Promoted to the U18's Squad after impressing for six months.
-Played there from 15 to 17, then placed in the Reserve Squad.
-After turning 19 he was deemed a Sporadic First Team player for York.
-Played 25 games in the 1999/2000 season keeping 14 clean sheets and only conceding 13 in all competitions.
-Clubs such as Middlesbrough, West Ham, Cardiff and Tottenham claimed interest.
-Tottenham, West Ham and Cardiff all refused to pay the price tag of £5.5M
-Middlesbrough haggled and dropped it down to £4M.
-Made transferred to Middlesbrough earning 10K p/w.
-Stayed at Middlesbrough for 5 seasons until the age of 25.
-Claimed the Golden glove 2 out of 5 of those seasons.
-Manchester United put in a bid of £23.5M for him.
-Accepted, claimed to be Sleightholm's dream job.
-Paid 80k p/w
-Played as their no.1 Goalkeeper for them for 6 seasons.
-Won Golden Glove 5 out of 6 of those seasons.
-Claimed to be 'World's Best Goalkeeper'
-Decided to retire at the age of 32.
-Became manager straight after Fergie retired.
