The Story Behind It

He, however had a replacement ready to be called up when he saw fit, his name being Josh Sleightholm
(Yes guys, it is me if you remember me) A young, fresh minded man who was a descendant of Alex being his Nephew. Alex had recognised he had most of the talents that he himself did before venturing into management, the mind games, the eye for a good player, and being able to keep everybody in a good mood; Alex had realised this when he managed to calm down all 3 of his children and Alex’s grandchildren.

Alex had told the board, staff and players who he insisted should take over and they agreed and went ahead with it, all who needed to be told now where the fans.

Played at Middlesbrough? Thirsk Falcons? I'm guessing you might live very locally to me. I'm from border of Middlesbrough and North Yorkshire.

Anyway, I'm going to read this story, good luck.

Yes, I live near Thrisk, you heard of it? and Cheers bud!:d
Well I live in a small place on the edge of Middlesbrough, but I was playing football in Northallerton at the weekend? I believe that isn't too far from Thirsk. I've played against Thirsk Falcons plenty of times.

Haha, what age do you play for, I'm only 13 but I play for the U15's instead?

First Press Conference

Sleightholm walked down the poster-ridden corridor, nervously looking left and right to see what appeared behind behind each door. He arrived at his desired destination, he was right outside the Press Conference Room; he tried to remember everything David Gill had told him about not mentioning anything to do with transfers, tactics, or players we were looking to move on. Sleightholm knocked and entered...

Sleightholm blinked continuously as he couldn't stand constantly looking at the flash of the Press' cameras. Before him sat, David Gill, Sir Alex Ferguson, and the current Manchester United Captain, Nemanja Vidic. He gave a slight wave to the Press, and walked on over to his seat, and sat down.

"I'm sorry to say we will have to keep this one short, we have a lot to get to inside the office, thank you, so first question, please." Announced Gill followed by repetitive flash of expensive camera's
"Please, Mr.Sleightholm, this is your first venture into management, and to have the pressure of managing a team like Manchester United certainly must be a lot, do you think you can cope?" Asked the intrigued journalist from The Sun.
"Well, if I have to be honest I wouldn't be able to cope by myself at this moment in time, but as I have the support from the whole Manchester United team, staff and board, I am confident I can do the job." Answered Sleightholm.

"Mr. Sleightholm, Sir! Will there be any activity in the transfer market?" Claimed another journalist, who was now readjusting his camera.
Sleightholm gave a quick and uneasy glance at David Gill, but Gill just nodded as if to say 'Do what you think you have to do'.
"No comment, there will be now talk of any transfer activity for a while yet. That'll be all for now." Gill, Vidic and Sleightholm stood up, and left the room glancing at the cameras as they went out. Sleightholm breathed a sigh of relief.

Sleightholm announces signings and departures

Sleightholm-
Gill-

"Shall we do it, I mean, we've put in all the offers, they've all be accepted by either the player or team?"

"Yes, we should do it, new manager time for a new Manchester United"

"There's a lot of changes though"

"Well lets hope for the best..."

20 deals finalised...19 offers accepted by United, who where they?

These are two people I feel that can both bring something to the squad, I won't mention them as I'll wait for you to find out yourself, hopefully there will be further action in the market.

These players I really felt couldn't either bring anything to the squad or didn't fit in, as well as that the money could be used elsewhere.

Wanted to get all my U18's and most reserves out on loan. Got a couple more to get out.

Low potential players. Didn't want them felt I could get more younger talent in, I plan to buy some in the future

Staff 'Makeover' to follow next...
Your team is bad, and you should feel bad :(
