1 game 1 user 2 managers.
Wanted to begin an FM13 career as an Unemployed Manager with a "Sunday league" rep to see who would take me on and how far I could get in the game. Yet I also wanted to manage Man Utd due to my anger at how fergie in real life manages my favorite team. I'm fed up of him ignoring our need for a decent midfield and constantly relying on pensioners in a world of power and pace. here's my chance to show him how it's done, but which game should I choose? BOTH!
So in the same game I will be both a non league boss under one name then the boss of England's finest club side in another. For the United side of things I will only be posting results and achievements.

We catch up with this series at the end of season 2.

According to The Guardian, Dunston UTS' Certified Foseball has expressed a desire to take the vacant manager post at Twerton Park.

Foseball is considered by many to be a leading candidate for the job and his interest is bound to increase speculation that he will indeed be offered the job.

Questions may well be asked as to whether Foseball is considering each role seriously, with Bath City becoming the latest in a succession of sides he has expressed an interest in during the past 24 hours, as well as the likes of Worcester City, Chorley FC, Bury Town, Workington and three other teams.

During his time with the Dunston UTS, Foseball's team finished runners-up in the Northern League Challenge Cup in 2014 and won the Northern League Division One in 2014.

"I have been very hurt and affected by the breakup of my championship winning team. A lower league manager who has success knows that bigger clubs will steal away players. However I am appalled at the amount of players that has now signed for other clubs. This hurt has driven me to post my interest at other available clubs. However nothing as yet is finalized and having spoken to the Chairman, there is still a possibility that I could stay. I am impressed that the club is now seeking to grow with promises of an extra staff member and their intention to drop their amateur status."

The 2014 UEFA Champions League came to a thrilling end today with Manchester United crowned Kings of Europe, following their triumph in the Final.

It was also a competition to remember for AS Saint-Etienne who thrilled everyone with their performances, although the same cannot be said for Tottenham Hotspur who endured a miserable time.

FC Barcelona's Lionel Messi scooped the top scorer award with twelve goals whilst Manchester United's Gareth Bale managed the most assists.

Manchester United have won the Champions League 4 times in their 136-year history and finished as runners up on 2 occasions.

Dunston UTS boss Certified Foseball has decided to end his reign at Federation Park by resigning from his position as manager. Foseball's departure from Federation Park comes as he embarks on a new adventure with Chorley FC, leaving Dunston UTS with an important decision to make.

During his time with the Dunston UTS, Foseball's team finished runners-up in the Northern League Challenge Cup in 2014 and won the Northern League Division One in 2014.

Dunston UTS will now be looking for a new manager.

Pundits in the media are already speculating that manager Barrie Stimpson could be tempted to take over the reins at Federation Park if the offer is right. Other managers such as Mark Jones, John Whittington and Tony Melling are also being linked with the Dunston UTS hot seat.

http://i1311.photobucket.com/albums/s671/Foseball_Man/QUOTEofTHEday.jpg

"I leave Dunston with a heavy heart but thankful that they had the courage to give an ex Sunday league manager a chance. We assembled a great team that coasted to the title and now as a semi professional manager I hope to do the same with my new club Chorley. I had other interest in me but the Magpies were the only team to make a concrete offer. We have a decent set up here at Chorley with the ability to finish outside the promotion places.

Having looked over the squad, I've noticed we have two very good full backs in Keiran Walmsley and Ibou Touray. Liam Irwin is our star center midfielder along with ex Blackburn star Matt Jansen up front. Although still skilful Matt has no pace at all and we seem to rely on Skipper Jon Cunliffe who bagged 13 goals last season in finishing in 13th place. I am more than confident we shall finish in the top six or eight and will contest the title once I've brought in my own players."
You should consider splitting it up into two stories. It might get complicated for both of us I assume when things start heating up.

Thank you your input will indeed be under consideration.

Founded in 1883, Chorley FC are a semi-professional English club currently playing in the Northern Premier League. The club play their home games at Victory Park and possess basic training facilities and very basic youth facilities. The club also has basic junior coaching and a limited youth recruitment network. The club is affectionately known as The Magpies and retains a fierce rivalry with Bamber Bridge.

The club enjoyed probably their best spell of success during the 2010s. Although now enduring a twenty-six year barren spell, having not won a competition since 1988, The Magpies still have a history of which they can be justly proud. Chorley FC won the English 6th tier for the only time in 1988. Last season they finished in a mid table position and will be looking to improve on that with the selection of their new manager.

If Certified Foseball hadn't realised how little interest his appointment at Chorley FC would generate, he will have a better idea this morning. Faced with a solitary journalist from The Non-League Paper, Foseball nonetheless fielded a range of questions such as the new job and transfer policy.

A journalist from The Non-League Paper chose the main focal point for the conference, asking, "Will you be returning to your old club in a bid to sign players?"

Foseball's response was assured, noting: "Most managers have already raided my old club and I believe there are one or two still there to which I will be doing everything possible if given a green light by my board"

Chorley FC have in fact completed the signings of young striker Jon Wannell from Dunston UTS on a free transfer as well as Irish Midfielder Gary O'Neil

Dunston UTS will receive a compensation fee of £5,000 each as part of the deal.

Wannell and O'Neil was part of the Dunston UTS side who were crowned Northern League Division One champions in 2014.

Chorley FC supporter spokesperson Jason Savage feels the fans are keen to see how Wannell and O'Neil fares after making the leap to a much bigger club but are prepared to let them play a few games first.

Wannell's departure reportedly received a mixed reception amongst supporters, but there was a general agreement that the club did exceptionally well to receive as much as they did for him, according to an interview with a spokesperson for the official supporters group.

Northwich Victoria have been made 6-4 favourites to gain promotion from the Northern Premier League this season.

The rest of the main contenders are priced at: 3-1 - Curzon Ashton, 3-1 - Workington, 3-1 - Guiseley AFC, 6-1 - Hednesford Town and 6-1 - Vauxhall Motors.

Chorley's pre-season odds of 10-1 indicate that the bookmakers don't believe the Magpies are far behind the top teams in this division in terms of quality. Indeed there is a feeling on the betting floor that if Chorley can perform well against them they might be able to achieve promotion.

"As far as tactics go, we will be using 442PAV 4312 and a 451PAV throughout the season. We do not have the income to splash out on players so I will bide my time and wait for the newest regens to enter the game and hopefully steal them from bigger clubs before they sign pre contracts. This tactic was the reason for my success at Dunston where we assembled a great championship winning squad.I'm not too bothered about mounting a Title challange this season however we aim to finish as high as we can."

Northwich Victoria 3-2 Chorley FC (Northern Premier League)

Northwich Victoria were physically outmatched by an average of 0'1" per player by their opponents but nonetheless ran out victorious, showing that on a warm summer's afternoon at Marston Road at least, smaller players are just as capable.

An error from Northwich Victoria's Zak Hibbert allowed young striker Jon Wannell to score a placed shot from 19 metres. An error from Northwich Victoria's Sam Christensen allowed Wannell to score a well timed close range finish. Young striker Alec Denton pulled one back for Northwich Victoria after 48 minutes with a weak close range effort.

Northwich Victoria's equaliser came through Kieran Smith as he seized on Jon Wannell's mistake to score an accurate finish. Midfielder John Bennett scored what proved to be the winner on 66 minutes with a well executed finish.

Chorley FC 1-0 Curzon Ashton (Northern Premier League)

Curzon Ashton were shorter by an average of 0'1" per player and were ultimately outmatched on the day at Victory Park, falling to defeat against their bigger foes.

Young striker Jon Wannell got Chorley FC off to a flyer by scoring a close range finish which was timed impeccably on 4 minutes.

Chorley FC could have had a harder time of it but their opponents seemed keen to waste possession by shooting from long range. Manager Foseball remarked,"It was good to get our first points on the board and I was pleasantly surprised at how Steven Beck was so direct in his wing play."

Ashton United 1-2 Chorley FC (Northern Premier League)

Chorley FC recorded a somewhat fortuitous win over Ashton United on a fine summer's afternoon at Hurst Cross.

Midfielder Adam Newbury suffered the ignominy of scoring a calamitous own goal in the 5th minute. Then followed controversy as Chorley FC were denied claims by experienced full-back Paul Mayo for a penalty.

Striker Matty Barlow then equalised for Ashton United in the 20th minute with a close range header. Defensive midfielder Andrew Teague scored what proved to be the winner on 39 minutes with a close range finish which was timed impeccably.

Chorley FC 0-5 Grantham Town (Northern Premier League)

In a surprisingly one-sided encounter at Victory Park, Grantham Town defeated Chorley FC 5-0. A brace from Andrew Hutchinson helped Grantham Town to victory.

Striker Andrew Hutchinson got Grantham Town off to a flyer by scoring a tidy finish from 14 metres on 10 minutes. Young midfielder Adam Watkis doubled Grantham Town's lead with a freak goal on 20 minutes.

Watkis added his 2nd goal of the game with a nice effort from 10 metres on 75 minutes. Hutchinson added his 2nd goal of the game with a well timed close range finish on 78 minutes.

Midfielder Mark Pryor completed the rout with a free kick from 27 metres on 89 minutes. Foseball was tight lipped and unsure at how to react after this thrashing. "This all is a learning process for me at this level." he said reluctantly.

Chorley FC 0-1 Blyth Spartans (Northern Premier League)

Blyth Spartans enjoyed a considerable height advantage over their opponents and used it to full effect en route to victory on a hard and bouncy surface at Victory Park.

Blyth Spartans' winner came through Danny Forrest as he seized on Will James' mistake to score a penalty.

The match was remarkable for the number of fouls committed by both teams, seemingly more concerned with disrupting the flow of the game than playing it.

AFC Fylde 1-3 Chorley FC (Northern Premier League)

One of the league's worst defences so far this season continued to struggle as AFC Fylde lost to Chorley FC on a mild summer's evening at Kellamergh Park.

Garner was able to keep his composure to score from the spot after Henry gave away a penalty. AFC Fylde also saw their 27th minute strike questionably chalked off.

With AFC Fylde staring at defeat, there was controversy as winger Michael Ordish then had a penalty shout turned down. AFC Fylde's equaliser came through Paul Henry as he seized on Paul Mayo's mistake to score a tidy finish from 9 metres. Chorley FC captain John Cunliffe then put Chorley FC in front after 80 minutes with a tap-in.

The Chorley FC fans might have been forgiven for thinking that their side would be happy with just the winner but the scoring wasn't over. Centre-back Dale Whitham finally rounded off their victory on 89 minutes with a deftly executed finish from close range. After back to back defeats the relief of Chorley was evident for all to see come the final whistle.

Whitby Town 0-1 Chorley FC (Northern Premier League)

Chorley FC recorded a somewhat fortuitous win over Whitby Town on a fine summer's afternoon at Turnbull Ground.

Winger Steven Beck gave Chorley FC the lead with a real poacher's effort from 10 metres in the 75th minute.

Chorley FC covered a lot of ground with some impressive running but their hard work was often for nothing. The return of Jon Wannell from injury was a delight for traveling fans. The seventeen year old striker had been out of contention for 4 weeks following a pulled hamstring.

New chairman Mitchell Buchanan has been thankful for Foseball's patience during what has undoubtedly been a stressful time for those involved with the club.

Buchanan has said that there are no plans to provide the club with any investment at this stage. As part of the takeover, a bank loan of £256K has been taken out to help with pre-existing debts and aid the day-to-day running of the club.

Chorley FC 3-0 Eastwood Town (Northern Premier League)

A highly polished performance from the Chorley FC players saw their team run out 3-0 winners over Eastwood Town at Victory Park.

Young goalkeeper Gez Bowles suffered the ignominy of scoring a calamitous own goal in the 7th minute. Winger Luke Holden doubled Chorley FC's lead with a deftly executed finish on 33 minutes.

Experienced midfielder Simon Garner completed the rout with a nice effort from 12 metres on 80 minutes. Chorley are sitting comfortably with the leagues top six teams.

Chorley FC 1-0 Bamber Bridge (FA Cup 2nd Qual. Rnd)

Youth was no match for experience on a breezy evening at Victory Park as a young Bamber Bridge team succumbed to a 1-0 (won after extra time) defeat at the hands of a much more experienced Chorley FC side. The original tie finished as a 0-0 stalemate and this was looking like penalties would separate these two teams.

Things turned sour for Bamber Bridge when centre-back Ciaron Barton earned himself an early bath for persistent fouling on 109 minutes. Chorley FC's winner came through Steven Beck as he seized on Tom Allen's mistake to score a well executed finish. Beck's impact delighted the fans with his late goal.

Chorley FC had more of the ball, which was to force their opponents into shooting from long range when they saw an opening.

Burscough 3-1 Chorley FC (Northern Premier League)

One of the league's worst defences put in one of their best performances of the season as Burscough defeated Chorley FC on a fine summer's afternoon at Victoria Park.

Striker Glen Taylor gave Burscough the lead with an effort from 19 metres in the 15th minute. Midfielder Jack Dorney doubled Burscough's lead with a well timed finish from close range on 22 minutes.

Chorley FC were nearly gifted a goal on 23 minutes through Michael Thomas' lapse in concentration but they failed to capitalise on the opportunity presented to them. Bath scored with a deftly executed finish which found its target via the post in the 35th minute to extend the lead further.

Experienced midfielder Paul Mayo pulled one back for Chorley FC after 58 minutes with a placed shot. With Chorley FC staring at defeat, there was controversy as experienced striker Chris Denham then had a penalty shout turned down.

The Chorley FC hierarchy appear to finally be losing patience with manager Certified Foseball, according to bbc.co.uk/sport.

Bbc.co.uk/sport are declaring that a bad result against Kendal Town in the forthcoming Northern Premier League match could seal his fate.

http://i1311.photobucket.com/albums/s671/Foseball_Man/QUOTEofTHEday.jpg

"...funny thing is, I keep hearing from media sources that I'm under pressure. Well I feel no pressure at all. its ridiculous to think so early on in the season. We will get it right once we get through injuries to key players. We have a decent 11 but struggle with a small squad."

Kendal Town 1-0 Chorley FC (Northern Premier League)

A potentially serious injury suffered by Kendal Town's Nick Thompson overshadowed events on what was a breezy afternoon at Parkside Road.

Kendal Town finally took the lead when striker Oliver Forsyth scored an accurate finish on 54 minutes.

Kendal Town had a number of attempts at goal but their profligacy meant they didn't score as many as they maybe would have liked.

John Cunliffe was out of luck again on Saturday as the striker's latest attempts to end his goal drought were thwarted by Kendal.

Cunliffe has now played eight matches without finding the net and the goalless streak seems to be affecting his confidence. Manager Certified Foseball commented " We just do not have the players to turn defeats into draws and draws into victories. Once we go behind we know there is no way back. We need either high level players or players at least with high determination and teamwork. unfortunately our finances are such that it's impossible to bring in fresh blood right away so I urge our supporters to hang on in there."

A big plus point for us has been the return from yet another injury to our star striker Jon Wannell. With Jon in our side we can finish in a top six position this is why the signing of another striker is paramount to our season. We currently are looking at a former Wigan Athletic youth player Rakish Bingham and hope to agree a deal as soon as possible."
Brilliant stuff, keep going :)

Chorley FC 2-1 Blyth Spartans

Chorley FC had their midfield to thank on a breezy afternoon at Victory Park as they showed their strikers how to finish.

Young midfielder Mitch Rose gave Chorley FC the lead with a finish executed with aplomb in the 32nd minute. Experienced winger Chris Denham doubled Chorley FC's lead with a close range finish which was timed impeccably on 57 minutes.

Striker Danny Forrest's 58th minute strike proved the only consolation for Blyth Spartans. Chorley go through to the next round having achieved their minimum requirement. Manager Foseball was excited after another win that puts him team on a unbeaten run.

Manchester City 2-1 Manchester United (Premier League)

A potentially serious injury suffered by Manchester City's Leighton Baines overshadowed events on what was a fine autumn afternoon at The City Of Manchester Stadium.

Centre-back Ciaran Clark got Manchester City off to a flyer by scoring a fine header from point-blank range on 2 minutes. Striker Wayne Rooney then equalised for Manchester United in the 3rd minute with a real poacher's effort from 10 metres.

Manchester United were nearly gifted a goal on 30 minutes through Maicon's lapse in concentration but they failed to capitalise on the opportunity presented to them. The last goal of the game came from goalkeeper David De Gea whose 41st minute own-goal will undoubtedly cause him some embarrassment.

Manchester United also saw their 87th minute strike questionably chalked off. Legendary midfielder Yaya Touré's red card for persistent fouling on 89 minutes put Manchester City's position under question.

Chorley FC's under-fire manager Certified Foseball may not have the full backing of his board, but the club's supporters are firmly behind him according to recent reports.

Chorley FC Unknown told football.guardian.co.uk that the fans believe that Foseball is the right manager and needs to be given time to work through the inevitable bad patches of form.
