October see's the kick off of the hyundai A-leauge in Australia everybody is excited to see how new comers Western Sydney Wanderers cope and all eyes are on the two big names that joined the league Emile Heskey and Italian super star Alessendro Del Piero.

Sydney FC's first game is away to wellington phoenix and everyone is keen to see Del Piero in action for his first competitive game in a sky blue jersey.

What a fantastic start to the season for my sky blue's, everyone gave 110% and looked very comfortable with the ball. A special mention has to go to man of the match S Ryall in defense he was very solid he made three key tackles and an amazing 15 interceptions! Next we have Newcastle Jets but Heskey is injured so he will not be featuring unfortunately.

Well that was a very disappointing lose I thought we had the three points in the bag up until the 88th minute when James Brown shattered everyones hearts then to rub it in Micheal Bridges slams one home in the 93rd minute. Not happy with the team falling asleep and thinking it was all over and won, Some solid words were given after the game to ensure this does not happen again!

The game everyone was looking forward to and it was a fantastically entertaining game that lived up to all expectations and I am very pleased to be on the winning side of this one, I go down in history as the first Sydney derby winner.

Not much to say about this game it was boring and not much happened, we should have won being a home game but it was not to be unfortunately.

Table after October

Not a bad start to the season but I will be hoping that we will be on top at the end of November.

November seen a mixed bag of results for the sky blues and was made for difficult by a couple of injurys to key players, our first match of the month was away to Central Coast Mariners which is never a easy task.

Emerton was on fire for this game in the right back role, he was responsible for distinguishing most of Central Coasts attacks and also carved up the right hand side with some smart runs and very good crosses into the area which caused the Mariners a few problems.

A good solid win against the Victory was very pleasing the boys never looked like loosing and was in control from the first whistle. A injury scare to Del Piero turned out to just be a slight knock and he wont miss any games thankfully.

A very disoppointing game against the Roar was made worse by the fact that they won from a own goal by Ryan Grant which he was spoken to about after the game and Culina got injured which will see him on the side lines for up to 7 weeks.

Another bore draw to finish November, Although the good news is that we have climbed to second on the ladder next month will be tricky without Culina but I have faith in Reid who will be taking his spot.

Table after November

December was a shocking month for the sky blues we were hampered by lots of injurys and I have lost a star player for the rest of the season and have slipped down the ladder.

Melbourne Heart broke my heart after what was a sensational start with Del Piero scoring in the first 5 minutes of play, we seemed set for a draw until David Williams pounced in injury time to steal all 3 points.

A disappointing draw here and Kruno picked up a rib injury again thats 4 rib injurys this year alone! I cant be to hard though as its never easy going over to NZ they have the best home record in the Leauge so a draw isn't to bad.

Well the Wanderers pulled it back to a win a piece and so they should have we gifted them possession by pretty much passing the ball back to them it was terrible to watch and ball control will be the focus in training next week. Del Piero was injured but thankfully it was just a knock and he is fine.

Same deal as last game, our ball control and passing is terrible we are on a horrible streak and changes need to be made!

Massive injury blow!

Grella is out for the rest of the season! We have such bad luck when it comes to injurys.

Just for something different we finished off December with another draw! Time for a team meeting to lift the team up for the new year and get back up the right end of the table.

Very good story and some decent results in there. Go give them hell!

Well our terrible run continues we just cannot win a game! I tried team meetings, tactic changes and nothing has worked. Del Piero and Emerton just have not stepped up as senior players and accept the rubbish the team plays we gift the opposition possession and do not win the 50/50 challanges as we should be there is a lack of pride in the sky blues shirt at the moment and someone pays for it!

The report says it all here, 2 red cards and 2 injurys after I used all my subs we were down to 7 men for the last 5 minutes and after the game I lost it at the team and fined both red card recipients 1 weeks wages which they both were not happy about until I told them to be professional and respect me.

I have been called into a board meeting tomorrow, doesnt sound good.

That didnt go to plan at all, the sky blues took off and climbed to 500 feet when all of a sudden we had engine failure and we crashed right back into the ground! Hopefully the new manager will do well while I go ponder what my next step in my managing career will be.
