August Update-
(capital one cup)

A good win, in a match that was tougher than the pundits thought. I was impressed with how the team performed.

A tough match, even if theyre bottom of the Championship right now.

(Championship)

A tough draw, in a match I was hoping would start our season off right.

I was happy with the point here, as Bolton are still a fantastic team and I knew we would be in for a tough match against them. That was indeed the case, but 1-1 was a credit to the lads who worked hard for the result.

The sending off and the injury's hurt us in this game, as I honestly felt like we were the better team on the pitch and deserved the three points from it. Needless to say, I told the team they needed to learn how to defend better in no uncertain terms.

(Capital One Cup)

Dont let the result fool you: we deserved atleast a draw. We had not 1 but 2 goals disallowed and it frustrated me to no end. The team let that get their heads down though, and Barnsley took advantage to win 0-2. I let the team know my thoughts after the match.

(The Table)

18th position is VERY dissappointing and I hope we can start to buck our ideas up and get some wins soon.
September Update-

Disappointing to draw, seeing as I definitely thought we were in with a shout of winning this match. We had our opportunities but the team couldnt convert them.

This wasnt a bad performance at all, despite the loss. We were up against a much better team and definitely had some positive things from this match, theres no doubt about that.

In what was a little bit of good news, I did manage to have a talk to the board about seeing if we could get a parent club to bring some players in on loan. They agreed with me and are looking for a team willing to feed us some players.

The team was 2-0 up but couldnt defend the lead. I gave them a baking after this and told them they need to learn how to defend harder, when in front.

an unlucky result, because we did enough to win in my opinion. I thought we had the opportuities and defended well enough but Burnley deserve credit for the draw they managed to get.

The less said about this match, the better. We were barely holding on in the 1st half and as soon as they took control of the game, we were done.

We currently sit 20th on the Championship table and in my eyes, that is far from good enough.
Club Link With Chelsea Announced-

This is a good move, from one of the best teams in England. Im hoping to get some of their younger talents and improve Hull's fortunes.
October Update-

A good result, seeing as we were expected to lose this match. I was impressed with how the team performed as well as they could.

I was relieved to win this match, as it was are first win for the season. The lads fought hard and Quinn's winner was just the icing on the cake.

I was hoping to hold on for a draw in this match, but we couldnt and Boro probably did end up deserving the win.

It was at this time that I started to feel the pressure on my job and the board made it known, that if I didn't begin to turn the team's fortune's around that i would be out of a job. It caused me to sit at home during the night, trying to conjure up some sort of plan in order to get Hull firing but I knew it wouldnt be easy at all.

Hull icon Bryan Horton came out in the media to my defence, which showed that there were people who believed that I was the right man for the job, which gave me confidence (I wont lie). It also inspired me to hire him on board as the assistant manager and allow him to return to the club that was close to his heart.

But now, it was back to the league games.

Not the result I was hoping for, and the media went back to heaping the pressure on me but I knew that it was going to come and that it was on me, to turn this team around and I would have to do it soon.

A good win, against another disappointing team and a definite confidence boost for the team. I knew that I would have to keep the team playing like this, in order to keep pushing for a mid-table position.

We are 19th on the table right now, 1 spot up from lat month but a lot of improvement is needed.
A Quick Update-

This loss was expected, so i wasnt too shocked about this.

A good win, and one that I thought would ease some pressure on me as manager and keep me in the hot-seat for a few more matches.

Disappointing loss, and after the match, the board called me into a meeting, where they told me they wouldnt be requiring my services as manager of the club anymore. Of course, I had to accept that and will be looking for a new job soon.
New Job-

I have accepted the offer from Venezia in Italy's Serie C2/A a my new project. Hopefully I do better here, than I did at Hull.
