October Update

In league we won two games, draw one and lost two. I hoped a better month but my objective of 27 points was a bit ambitious. We have 23 points and are still 6th of the league, the gap with promotion's spots is just of 1 point. We conceded 9 goals in our two games lost who were against Luzenac and Amiens, the teams I feared the most. I hopped to win the three other games, we dominated all of them and won two. The first one was a great 5-1 win but I'm not so happy with the two other games because we were very bad when it come to shots.
This month we also played a match in Coupe de France. I hope a good run in this competition. We won 4-2 against Gallia Lucciana and we will know tomorrow who will be our 7th round opponents.

In November we will play at least three matches. I have only two matches on my calendar but the cup game will appear after the draw and I think they will be if we win a other cup round. Our two league games will be against Le Poiré-sur-Vie and Boulogne. The first one is winnable and the second one will be a hard match, so I hope to finish the month with 27 points (4 points more than today).

Vannes OC 1-6 Paris FC
I played this game two times because my save crashed. I'm disappointed is not the first game who has been saved even if the next one was a better result I preferred the great scenario we had at the first attempt. The two game totalled 16 goals. We won the first time 5-4 and the second time 6-1. I was afraid not to do as good than the first time and we where 1-0 down for nearly all the first half but after Ayivi's goal and the half-time we dominated totally the game. And once a game it was a great match with great goals so once again I recommend the highlights.

Luzenac 5-1 Paris FC
It could have been are 5th victory in a row but finally it was a big defeat, my first one with PFC. It was also the...5 consecutive victory for Luzenac. I wanted to try a new game philosophy and started the game with five strikers on the pitch (I usually begin with three strikers, one of the play as a winger). And it didn't work but I think the result doesn't reflect our performance. We touched the crossbar four times and they goal keeper did one or two superb save. When Da Costa scored we where third of the league and now we are 8th. We need now a big reaction against Cherbourg

Paris FC 1-0 AS Cherbourg Football
We reacted but I would have liked more goals and we could have scored a lot more but we were clumsy (22 shots, 9 on target, one goal). Still a win is a win and we can still achieve my objective of 27 points at the end of the month.

Once again we were clumsy. We dominated the all game but couldn't score and this was very stressing.

Amiens SC Football 4-1 Paris FC
To lose 4-1 is a bit hard. They scored two goals in the last five minutes when my team was completely worn and I'm happy I can rest the players with the cup match. We did a very good first half, and are 1-0 lead was logical but in the second half I didn't make the best tactical choice and we conceded 4. This game was also the 100th league appearance with Paris FC for Diawara who was sent off for a second yellow card at the 66 minute.

Gallia Lucciana 2-4 Paris FC
I played the players without game time and we won 4-2 but I don't really know if is a good performance or no. We dominated the game but maybe should have scored more. Now I hope to play a other little team to rest my players because I want the team to go far. It will be nice to play a L1 or L2 side but I prefer to play them in quarter or semi finals
