We had 4 fixtures this month, 1 Friendly, 2 LA Liga matches, and 1 European Super Cup Match.
We started the month off with a bang, putting 6 in the back of the net. We didn't need Falcao for this one as he didn't start. We dominated all parts of the game.

The next match was our first league match against Deportivo. I wanted the team to go out and immediately score. They didn't. It was nil-nil at half time. I told the team to press on and keep their heads up. Falcao was having a poor match. You could have missed him if you were a spectator. In the 77th minute though, Falcao hit a ball at the keeper, which fell right back to Adrian. Before you knew it , the ball was in the back of the net. The game finished 1-0 and the whole team could savor their first 3 points of the season.

Our next match was home against Barcelona. One of my former clubs. I was just stunned at their comfort and fluidity. I told the team to go out and play physical. And in the 30th minute it looked like it was going to pay off. Diego Costa got a rebound from a Felipe shot that hit the bar and volleyed it into the back of the net. Cesc Fabregas was to ruin our hopes of 3 points though when he calmly scored on a breakaway. A draw was within reach in the 90th minute when messi beat 3 guys and powered it pass Courtious for a 91st minute goal. I was furious at our defenders. We should have at least gotten a point. Falcao had another poor game, earning a 6.2 rating.

At. Madrid's last match this month was against the blues from London in the European Super Cup. The game was a boring one Fernando Torres scored a goal in the 31st minute, and Eden Hazard was awarded a penalty in the 36th minute, which he saved. Other than that, the game was uneventful. Falcao had a 6.1 match rating. He has been awful.

On the transfer front, At. Madrid were not very active. We bought 2 players, Doria for 525K, and a Spanish CB from Villareal named Pablo Iniquez, for 825K. He's very young, just 18. Their profiles are posted below

The young Chelsea loanee gave up only 3 goals in 4 games. He made many crucial saves against Barcelona as well as saved an Eden Hazard penalty.
