Doing well, mate.
Unlucky with your computer problems but you are top of the league and that's all that counts!
Damn dude. You're doing well but I am now depressed because my transfers are similar to yours- just a heads up I didn't rip you off haha.
2013-01-08 06:39#76081 BFC_Michael : I've been having some computer problems recently which has stopped me updating this story as much as I would like. :(
This story is nearly making me want to make a Burnley game :)

Cheers Glen, it was your awsome QPR story that made me have a go at my own!

BURNLEY HANDED TOUGH FA CUP DRAW

http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/47574000/gif/_47574070_burnley_mancity.gif

Championship side Burnley could not have been handed a tougher draw in the FA Cup third round as the luck of the draw pitted them against current Premier League Champions Manchester City.

The teams will meet at Turf Moor on the 5th January, with Clarets boss Graham Alexander unfazed by his teams cup opponents:

"It doesn’t matter who we get drawn against, we will always go out and attack the opposition team and try to win the game. If we realistically want to get promoted this season Manchester City are the type of teams we will be coming up against week in week out so it will be a good test to see just where we are at"

We still sit top of the table...just. We've lost our 4-point lead and now only remain there on goal difference. Another quite depressing fact about this month is that we lost more games in December than we have the whole of the season so far. I'm not going to be too negative about it tho - I will put it down to having an injury ravaged squad in a very busy month, lets hope next month sees an improvement.

Player of the month - Ben Mee

At the begging of the season I wasn't sure what to do with Ben Mee, but this last month or two he has made the left back slot his own and put in some really good performances. So good in fact that I'm hearing rumours that Celtic are showing interest in the young defender..lets hope not.
Really good story, hopefully you can beat City
Ben Mee played for Manchester City right? Anyway congratulations on being top, just make sure you don't fall into the play-offs, worst feeling ever when you lose in the play-off fina; / semi-final

Yeah he did, we signed him along with Kieren Tripper and both have been excellent.

CONTRACT NEWS

Burnley midfield Chris McCann has turned down a further 3 contract offers from the club, all but signifying his intent of leaving The Clarets. Premiership teams QPR and Sunderland have shown an early interest in the Irish midfielder who looks set to be playing in the top tier next season, even with Burnley flying high in The Championship.

There is some brighter news for Burnley fans as shot-stopper Lee Grant has put pen to paper in a new 2-year contract that will see him remain at the club until June 2015. Grant has been in decent form this season and fans will be happy to see his services tied down for 2 more years.

Something which made me laugh..it seems the Venkys are just as comical in-game as they are in real life. :D

BURNLEY SIGN ROBERT SNODGRASS

Burnley have today confirmed the signing of Scottish international Robert Snodgrass from Norwich City for a fee of around 2 million pound.

Snodgrass has only featured twice this season for Norwich and has publicly declared his interest in a move away from Carrow Road.

Burnley gaffer Alexander seemed delighted this morning speaking about the transfer:

“I’m delighted Robert has joined us, he’s a player I’ve admired for a long time and to get him for only 2 million is a real bargain in my eyes. Although we’ve been fantastic this season and performed above many peoples exceptions I feel out wide is where we are lacking the most and Robert will provide health competition for places. The only downside is that Robert is currently suffering from a broken jaw and it will be another 2 weeks before he can make his debut.”
