Very good signing in Snoddy, been brilliant with Leeds in real life and with Norwhich, hope he has the same success with your Burnley

Another disappointing month in my opinion, that's 2 in a row now. If we carry on this form we can forget about play-offs never mind top 2. Hopefully the signing of Robert Snodgrass will inspire the lads into picking up a few more points in February. Also a note on the Man City game - we took one hell of a thrashing, but the lads gave everything and that's all you can ask for in those types of games.

Player of the month - Marvin Bartley

http://pictures.footymad.net/upload/104/763514-3.jpg

Marvin is only playing this month because of an injury to Cristiano Zanetti but he has been outstanding. Cristiano will have to work hard to get his place back in the team if Marvin continues to produce this kind of form. Also, with McCann looking more and more likely he’s leaving maybe I already have the ideal replacement in Bartley already.

I hope so too, 2 million is a lot of money to spend for a club like Burnley, but I think he will be worth it.

A much better month that sees us go unbeaten in the league. Hopefully this has given us the confidence and the belief back in the players and we can now make the final push towards a top 2 finish. Due to the last 2 months being very uninspiring I've tweaked amd changed my tactics and formations and hopefully going off this month we have found something new that works for us. Bring on Blackburn Rovers next month...

Player of the month – Ross Wallace

http://pictures.footymad.net/upload/104/729132-3.jpg

Ross has been fantastic this month, with 3 goals in 4 games and just as many assists. Since Snodgrass has joined us he has had to work hard to keep his place in the team and it’s really showing now, if this form keeps up till the end of the season it will greatly boost our promotion chances.

My best month yet, winning 5 and drawing 1 and that's now 9 games without a loss. After an incredible March I’m now really starting to believe we can finish in the top 2. I must admit I was starting to have my doubts after a poor Christmas period but things seem to be looking up.

Player of the month – Charlie Austin

Finally Charlie has won my player of the month! He's been incredible this month scoring 5 goals out of 5. He's now got 20 for the season and I’ve set him a personal target of 25 which I think he should get no problem. If he keeps this months form up I have no doubts we will win the league.

CLEAN-SWEEP FOR BURNLEY IN MARCH AWARDS

Burnley’s incredible month was capped off with them winning Manager, Player, Young Player and Goal of the Month awards for March. The awards are as follows:

Graham Alexander picked up Manager of the Month after guiding his team to an unbeaten March, winning 5 games along the way.

And finally, Ross Wallace secured goal of the moth after his fine strike against local rivals Blackburn Rovers.

Speaking about the awards, Burnley boss Graham Alexander was understandably delighted and had this to say:

“Obviously I’m over the moon with what we’ve achieved this month and these awards are testament to that. Charlie has been on fire all season and this award gives some recognition to that. Adryan struggled at first when he came to England but now he’s settled right in and his performances are reflecting that. Ross has put in a good shift too this month and his goal against Blackburn is one he won’t forget anytime soon. My award goes to the whole squad who have worked their socks off since day 1. No one gave us a chance of promotion at the start of the season but look at us now, with only a month left we are top of the table and looking as strong as anyone.”
Top of the league :D What are your transfer plans for the Premier League?

ALEXANDER EXTENDS STAY

http://e2.365dm.com/13/01/660x350/Graham-Alexander-Fleetwood_2885127.jpg

Burnley boss Graham Alexander has been rewarded with his work at Burnley with a new 4-year contract worth 18k per week. Alexander, who has turned Burnley from a mid-table Championship team to serious promotion contenders, was eager to sign up and it’s thought the whole deal took no more than 5 minutes to complete.

“Burnley is a great club and I’ve been made to feel very welcome here. The board, players and fans have been nothing but supportive of me in my short time here and I want to repay their loyalty by committing my long-term future to the club. Together, I feel we can go on to accomplish great things.”

I can’t quite believe it. At the start of the season I was pessimistically preparing my self for a relegation dogfight but here we sit today, top of the table, winners of The Championship! I honestly thought after a poor Christmas period we would be contending for a play off spot but we turned things around and went on one hell of an unbeaten run eventually leading to us to be crowned champions. I cannot wait to get started in The Premiership, I’ve already got ideas on who I want to buy (depending on how much money I’m given!) and what tactics I want to try out against some of the big guns!

Player of the month – Kieran Tripper

http://www.burnleyfootballclub.com/cms_images/player/412131_231x264.jpg

Kieran has been excellent all season but perhaps hasn’t had the recognition he deserves, so I’m glad I can give me last player of the month award to him. He’s been unplayable this month and I can’t wait to see the lad play in The Premiership, I think he’s going to fit right in.

BURNLEY CROWNED CHAMPIONS

http://www.bbc.co.uk/lancashire/content/images/2009/05/29/parade_470x303.jpg

Burnley FC have defied all the critics and won the 2012/2013 Championship.

The Clarets where priced at 300-1 to win the league before the season started but with new boss Graham Alexander Burnley looked a force to be reckoned with and in the end won the league with an 8 point cushion between them and second placed Cardiff.

Burnley can now look forward to a season with the big boys, with Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United just a few of the giants who will be visiting Turf Moor next season.
