Intro

I have always played as big teams in football manager I have never down a lower league before so this will be fun. I have decided to give Fc United of Manchester a go, as I am a Manchester united fan and I fucking hate the Glazers. My goal is well have fun doing this story to make you the readers enjoy it. Know don’t get me wrong I want to win everything and that will be the fun part well I hope use enjoy this story, and here are my real Goals:

•Get FC United of Manchester to the Premiership in as few seasons as possible.
•Beat Manchester United in a competitive game.
•Win the English Premier League.
•Win the FA Cup.
•Win the League Cup.
•Win the Champions League.
•Win the Champions League more times than Man Utd (currently stands at 3 times)
•Win the World Club Cup.
•Increase FC United's club value higher than Man Utd's.
•Own your own Stadium.
•Become a legend at the Club.
•Gain top Training Facilities.
•Gain top Youth Facilities.
•Make club finances show as Rich.
•Have a player gain a Cap for England.

BACK ROUND

F.C. United of Manchester is an English semi-professional football club based in Bury, Greater Manchester that plays in the Northern Premier League Premier Division. It was formed in 2005 by Manchester United supporters opposed to American businessman Malcolm Glazer's controversial takeover of the club. The supporters own the club and vote on how the club is run.

The club entered the North West Counties Football League Division Two in 2005, winning the league in their inaugural season. In their second season, they were crowned champions of North West Counties Football League Division One and were promoted to the Northern Premier League. The 2007–08 season saw them finish second in the Northern Premier League Division One North and gain promotion through the end of season play-offs. Since then they have played in the Northern Premier League Premier Division, reaching the play-off final in 2010–11. The club also reached the Second Round Proper of the FA Cup in the 2010–11 season. F.C. United has played at Gigg Lane since its formation in a ground-share with Bury. However, the club has applied for planning permission to build its own ground in north Manchester.

The Man With The Plan

Fc united of Manchester has today announced that Dean Ashton will be the new part time manager at the club. Chairman Andy Walsh said this is a great day for the fans of the club to get a big name in such as Dean Ashton. Even though dean has not managed before I still believe he is the right man to take us were we wanted to go. Dean has played for some great teams and all the experience he can bring hear is great and I know he will use it to motivate team.

I am really happy to be given the chance to manage, and a lot of people have asked me why this job I could of got a job higher up, and the reason is simple I get to work part time for now, working part time will gel me into management slowly and that’s what I wanted I did not want to jump on a big job I wanted to take my time and being here will do just that for me. Even though this team is not around long it already has a history and I want to be part of the new history we are going to make.

This season what I want from the players is commitment I want them to show me that they want to play for this club. I have talked about my goals for the season and a lot of people have laughed back in my face, I just smiled and walked away, do they really think we cannot do them, Well here is what I say two that F**k You, and wait and see, Just wait and see.

With are training and youth facility’s not up to par I will need them upgraded as soon as possible, I need the players to be at their best going into the new season’s and with the way the training ground is looking we are going to need a big investment. And I don’t mind waiting a season our two for that we will just have to make do with what we have for the moment.

The players we have at the moment are good players but i am going to be looking to bring some players in and with no transfer fund it’s the free Market for me this season, but there are some great players to be found players that were let go without the chance3 to show what they can do. And I plan to bring some of them to Fc United Of Manchester.

Pre-Season

Ok so with preseason just about over, what I I did was cancelled all the friendly’s that I had and I got on the phone two try and get bigger teams over to play, reason is simply more money for the club. And we got too teams that would come over and play, the teams were Porto Reserve Team and Derby Reserve team, now I was happy with that brought us in an extra bit of money and will help us out a little.

Ok with the team so small I had to get players and with no money this would be hard and I was given a 2.5k wage increase in to get players so I hit the transfer market. And here is what I got.



Some good players in there and I hope they will help us out this season, I also went to the broad and asked them when are we moving to are new stadium and what does it look like, and to my surprise I was brought out a Blue print of what it will look like when it’s all done. That looks really good when is it going to be ready, not for a while yet.

With the pre- Season matches over I did not really care if we won our lost as it was all about getting money into the club. And that’s what we did we made around 30k with the friendly’s that we played and that was great for such a small club like us. Now the season is just about to start and I was asked where do you think we will finish this season, my answer was 1st we want to win the league and that is what we are aiming to do this season.

The tactics that I will be using this season, well there are 3 different ones and most of them are all attack I want the team to get use two theses before the end of the season so we can carry them into next season with us and know how to play them with some skill. All the players have gelled ok to them but now comes the test. The League.

Swear Your obsessed with dean ashton. Best deal we ever did. selling him to west ham!

Eastwood Town Vs Fc United Of Manchester

As I sit in my office getting ready for my first match as a manager I am shitting it, there is a thing just going around and around in my head saying you will fail, and no matter what I do to get rid of it, it just keeps on coming back. Well I still have to get on with this my first match is Against Eastwood Town and its away, I know the players will give everything they have, wont they….. yeah they will even the new players are getting on very well with the players, so what team will I pick I have a lot of players to choose from know so aw I know what team to start with theses lads will be just right.


Ok lads a big today not only is it my first game but it’s the game were we are going to show everyone what we can do. Lads I am not good at the old speeches ok but I was told this as a boy and it stuck with me all the way and I hope it helps use out, as long as use go out there and give it your all you will be remembered but if you go out there and do nothing you will be nothing, I know it does not make a lot of sense know but it will later on and use will look back and say holy shit that mad bastard was right. Right lads come on get out there and show me what use can do.


Ok lads great start to the new season I am so proud off all of use, use went away from home and played some great football and even better took all the points. That was a great game to watch as a fan, and to watch it as a manager I nearly shit myself a few times well done lad’s great game, Now go on into the showers.

Fc United Of Manchester Vs Matlock Town

After the last game it was hard to decide what team to pick, I sit down and have my lunch looking over the team sheet and having to decide what team to pick. I think I will stay with the same team that beat Eastwood town, they played well and worked as a team so I don’t see why I should not give them another chance. Aw fuck what is fucking Brown Sauce on a toast sandwich what the fuck. Nearly made me sick, fucking No good cooks.


Ok lads in the last game against Eastwood we played some great football and I want use to do that again, we are playing in front of are home fans and they will be looking at us to give them a show and win the match. I believe we have what it takes to win this this match and most of all lads I believe in use. No when that bell goes and us make your way out to the field remember use are the better team and use can win this fucking match.


Lads what a game use played some great football, to win 3-0 is a great win for the club I hope us all know that. Matlock Town is a tough game and use made it look easy. The goals were well worked and the defence did not put a foot wrong the whole game. Well done lads we are off to the start that I wanted in the league keep this up boys.
