Start of season
Q.P.R
Stoke
Fulham

Thank you for reading.
After winning there last match Southampton have come into the game with Marllorca on high hopes, but what Mallorca had in store for Southampton was a little too much for the Soton players to handle.
4-0 to Mallorca with southampton being behind the back foot through out the whole 90 plus minutes.
No matter what the Southampton manager did it was no use.

Southampton first defeat this season.

Thank you for reading stay tuned for the next friendly fixture against Besiktas
Besiktas are a good team and Southampton cannot think its a walk in the park.

Southampton manager has not made any changes so far with his new signings being made just after this game they will be available in the game against Q.P.R.

Southampton come away with a win only by a single goal but Southampton were making Besiktas defenders work exceptionally hard, having lost to Mallorca in their last game they wanted to get in the winning ways again. final score

Besiktas 0-1 Southampton

Thank you for reading next up will post the Q.P.R match and my two new signings.

Good evening all we had a good match between Southampton and Q.P.R,we saw Southampton playing at home, being the opening game of the season,Diego lfran is up front with David Suazo, back four we have Velero, Squillaci,Dickson and Blackwell.Blackwell is new to the squad having just signed a professional contract from the youth academy.
midfield there is Dyer, Pedro, Angel, and Jason Puncheon.and Robert Green in goal.

Suazo playing well in the first 15 minutes having hit the post twice and having hit the side netting ones.

Joey Barton for Q.P.R also had a couple of chances, but thanks to green he denied him the goals
on the 45th minute.
First half saw both teams giving out their best but no one had the quality to finish in the final third.

Second half also had a pacey start, David Suazo was replaced with Rickie Lambert on the 52nd minute, on the 55th Minute Rickie Lambert side footed his shot with acres of space and scores his goal making it 1-0 to Southampton breaking the dead lock.

But unfortunately they could not hold on to the league for too long as Nedum Onuoha scored after 3 minutes of the game equalizing for his team.
The rest of the match saw both teams battling it out with a few attempts but nothing serious to call it shots at goal.

Final score Southampton 1-1 Q.P.R

Thank you for reading stay tuned for the second fixture

Stoke - Southampton.

Hello all Southampton came away with a draw to Q.P.R on their first outing and now just encountered on form Stoke, Southampton a had many chances in the first half, but not good enough to finish the play off at the end.

Brilliant counter, brilliant attacking football but the strikers were not there, Rickie Lambert and David Suazo were not to there usual standards.

Stoke on the other hand were playing a more controlled game and the one chance they had they finished and scored on the second half 76th minute.

Final score Stoke 1-0 Southampton

Thank you for reading and Stay tuned for the next game against Preston in the Capital One Cup 2nd round

Afternoon everybody today's latest results is the Capital One Cup 2nd round Preston v Southampton.
Southampton were in control through out the game with a stern 442 formation, having to let go of Adam Lallana last season Roberto made a bid to buy him from Stoke to have him on the team again as he feels that the team need a player of his caliber.

Suazo and Billy Sharp were the strikers this time round and they weren't the ones to have scored it was the talented Midfielder Pedro from a stunning free kick on the 57th minute.

Preston had a few chances but nothing to worry Robert Green, Preston looked very stressed out in the pitch today as it showed with Keith Keene fowled Lambert and receiving a yellow card.

Good match for Southampton to steam on to the next round.

Preston 0-1 Southampton.
Thank you for reading coming soon Barclays league match against Fulham

Good evening from Sky Sports we had a good tense match today Southampton v Fulham,
Fulham are a good team this season with unbeaten in all their friendlies.

Kasami was the first scorer to break the dead lock in 15 minutes of the first half
for Fulham, pushing on they were searching for another to calm the fans, but Southampton scored 2 goals in quick successions after five minutes making it 2-1 for Southampton, Fulham fans were in disbelieve when they saw the tables flip from being in front to being behind.

The rest of the first half was a bit hit and miss and no real chances David Suazo having a yellow card along with Pedro and Billy Sharp.

The second half had Roberto Miali changing his line up with a fair few yellow cards on the pitch taking off Suazo,Sharp and Pedro and bringing in Nolan Lambert and Bobby Zamora after 15 minutes of excitement on either end Zamora finally put it in the back of the net for Southampton making it 3-1 and a penalty on 90+1 minute Lambert being fouled and took the penalty with calm it went the same way of the keeper but the keeper could not reach for it,
Whistle blew straight after thus ending the match 4-1 for Southampton.

Stay tuned for next match against west ham

Newcastle United 0-0 Southampton (Barclays Premier League)

Newcastle featured a number of exceptionally quick players but they were unable to secure victory, instead sharing the spoils on a hard and bouncy surface at St. James' Park.

Both teams had a number of attempts at goal, which promised much, but the quality of finishing was poor throughout.

Player of the Match: Cheick Tioté (Newcastle)
Attendance: 50,584
With Southampton drawing here today see them climb the table to 6th place with 8 points
