Conte sacked as the manager of Juventus while Diego Maradona will replace him. This has come as a massive shock and many fans of Juventus are unhappy with the decision. Maradona however, stated in a press conference that “trophies will be won and there is no need to worry.” He also revealed that he was interested in a couple of players, one of which is rumoured to be Gareth Bale. He agreed with the Juventus Board that he will be carrying on with the traditional 3-5-2 which has recently become very successful. He finished of by admitting how he would really "love" to bring the Champions League home to Juventus.

First off, Maradona was proud to announce the signing of Gareth Bale for a fee reported to be around £27.5 million pounds. He has signed a 4 year contract worth around 110k a week. The new Juventus boss described this transfer as a "real bargain". PA -

As a backup goalie, Gomes of Tottenham has been added to the squad for an undisclosed fee signing a 1 year contract. PA -

Bright prospect Zaha from Crystal Palace for a fee of £5 million pounds which could potentially rise to £6.5 million pounds. PA
