We are missing him already at City, good luck with AC :) ... not only do u get Mario, u got Nige as well :D
He seems to be so much better with Milan in game than he was with City or in real life :/

The FM Rookie:
It looks like you need a goalkeeper to replace Abbiati. Your youth prospects are amazing! Five years on and you will have a team better than Barca
Barcawho? :P

Tactics

No sooner had I finished reading the squad report did my email ping again, a second one from Tassotti. This one was entitled "tactics", one of the big parts of being a manager.

I wrote a quick reply to tell him it was fine, then I sat back and wondered if there was anything else Mauro could possible message me with. Turns out not, and I was finally able to relax and rest my eyes.
That 4-1-2-1-2 looks nice! Although if I were you, I'd use Counter Attack instead of Offside Trap.

I think you'll find I'm using neither :P

Milan Sign Adryan

AC Milan have completed their first signing under new manager Clarence Seedorf, confirming the transfer of Brazilian attacking midfielder Adryan from Flamengo for a fee of £875k.

The 18-year-old made 3 appearances this season so far for Flamengo, scoring once, but has obviously persuaded the Milan scouts that they should take a chance on him, and the club triggered Adryan’s release clause. He has signed a 3 year deal with the San Siro club, on £1.5k p/w. Adryan famously turned down Manchester United to stay on at the Rio de Janeiro club a couple of years ago, but has now decided he needs to make the move to Europe to further his career.

Adryan will wear the number 15 shirt for AC Milan.

A good signing for your team, I hope he'll shine :)

Doria To Join Milan

AC Milan manager Clarence Seedorf has signed one of his former Botafogo teammates, Doria. The young Brazilian defender is Seedorf’s second signing of the transfer window after he signed Adryan earlier on in the window.

The 17-year-old joins for £525k, which was the release clause in his contact, although the transfer will not go through until the 1st January 2013, after Doria’s 18th birthday. Brazilian rules prohibit under-18 players moving to foreign clubs.

Doria had been in advanced contract talks with Croatian club Dinamo Zagreb, but when AC Milan joined the race to sign the defender there was only going to be one winner. There was also reported interest from Ukrainian club Karpaty Lviv.
Doria and Adryan, some great signings! I really like the look of your tactics and I hope you can get Robinho and newly signed Balotelli going. Good Luck :D
Doria is a wonderful signing :) I hope he does as well as he did for Sporting :P

I like the way you picked two former City players :P

He only played three games!

Milan Sign Green

AC Milan have completed their third signing of the transfer window, and continue their pattern of signing young prospects. This time it is young George Green from English club Everton. The 16-year-old only joined Everton at the start of the summer, but has convinced the Milan scouts to splash out £550k to bring him to the San Siro.

Green was held in high regard by the coaching staff at Goodison Park, but they failed to offer him a proper contract in time, and Milan nipped in and signed the young attacking midfielder. He joins Doria and Adryan on the list of young players to have signed on to Seedorf’s Milan this summer, and is said to be relishing competing with Mastour and Adryan for the central attacking midfield role in the future.

There are worries Green won’t be able to adapt to Italian culture, much like when Milan striker Mario Balotelli failed to adapt to life in England with Manchester City, but Seedorf has said in a press conference he will be doing everything he can to help him cope, and it will help that Milan do employ an English coach and a Scottish scout.

Green will wear the number 19 shirt for I Rossoneri.
making some great youth signings blue, you are going to hvae a great young team coming through the ranks :)

El Shaarawy Proud To Win First Cap

AC Milan winger Stephan El Shaarawy has spoken of his pride for winning his first full Italy cap against Morocco. The 19 year old came on at half time and managed to set up a goal, and although he would have hoped he could put in a slightly better performance, there was nothing that could take away from the occasion.

When asked how he felt about making his debut for Italy ahead of Milan’s first league game of the season against Siena at the San Siro, El Shaarawy responded “I can’t describe how proud I felt the moment I ran onto that pitch. Playing for your country is something every young player dreams of, and now I’ve done it I want to keep playing for them and become a regular in the side. I was shocked when I got the call if I’m honest. I’ve only played three times for the under-21s, and I’m only 19 as well, so I couldn’t have thought in a million years I’d get called up for Italy now.”

El Shaarawy is expected to be an important part of an AC Milan team trying to win back their title from Juventus, who have already won the Italian Super Cup over Napoli this season, although struggled in pre-season games against English sides Stoke and Wigan.

I'm glad I'm getting most of these player cheap as well. In total I've spent £1.9m and got three great youth prospects.
El Shaarawy is an amazing player, he will lead your team to glory :)
