England Record a routine 4-0 win which leaves them 1 point behind Poland and Ukraine and Montenegro just 3 points off top spot too. Manager Jason Lippitt was very happy with the way the match went. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain was back on form, goals from Wilshire, a Lampard Penalty, Oxlade-Chamberlain and a Smalling first goal for England was enough against a very poor San Marino team.

England played Canada today and Lippitt made several changes. Nolan, Lennon and Sinclair came in for Wilshire, Dyer and Lampard. Hooper keeps his spot upfront.

The Match
On a wet windy evening at the Saitama stadium, the old England turned up. the dominant England. Oxlade-Chamberlain has only had one poor performance since Lippitt took charge and his close range finish on the 7th minute was brilliant. His interplay with Rooney and Nathan Dyer was a joy to behold, then on only his second start for his country Dyer took over the game threatening every time he had the ball at his feet. On the 13th minute he got his first international goal. Huddlestone gave the ball to Hooper who chipped it into the box for Dyer to head in off both posts. Dyer then on the 39th minute scored a wonder goal. Picking the ball up on the half way line decided to run at the poor Japanese defence and skinned 4 men before a delightful lob over keeper. Japan got a goal back when it was 2-0 but England never looked like losing this match and A shoutout to Ryan Shawcross who was a rock on his debut. Man of the Match for me was Dyer but they gave it to Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Match Day
England HAVE named Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the starting line up for the game against Poland and it is a calculated risk from manager Jason Lippitt. Adam Johnson also starts and Frank Lampard is named as captain as Rooney only makes the bench again, Gabby Agbonlahor is the striker as Lippitt goes for speed against Poland at the Bolelyn Ground. Defender Ryan Shawcross keeps his spot with Chris Smalling in central defence.
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/341/englandvpolandhometeams.png/
Gabriel Agbonlahor gave Poland a footballing masterclass on a showery Autumn evening at The Boyleyn Ground, London. A drab, dull first half came to an end and the decision to play Oxlade-Chamberlain did not pay off so on came Scott sinclair and Wayne Rooney. Immediately Sinclair and rooney combined to allow a charging Frank Lampard to smash a header against the bar, thats when Poland must have new it was only a matter of time when Agbonlahor opened the scoring on 54 minutes. Nathan Dyer who was very impressive again played a ball to Rooney who then threaded a ball through the eye of a needle for a storming Agbonlahor run and knocked it into the botton right hand corner for 1-0. On the 63rd minute it was all over when Agbonlahor again running at pace at the aging Polish defence got brought down, it looked like a dive to me but the penalty was given and Frank Lampard, who was impressive all game smashed it into the top corner for 2-0. It will be the same team that finished the game that will start the match vs Montenegro with the exception of Chris smalling who will be replaced byPhil jones as he has reached his yellow card limit.

Jack Cork gets a debut for his impressive performances for Q.P.R and Smalling comes back in to partner Jones at Centre Back and Rooney and Agbonlahor are the strikers. England win 5-1 against Moldova witha brace from Gabby Agbonlahor, a debut goal from Jack Cork and goals from Nathan Dyer a 25 year screamer and also Oxlade-Chamberlain,

England now need to beat Ukraine and hope results go for them to make the playoffs for the world cup. Ukraine have now qualified for the World Cup, Moldova have to draw or beat Poland to allow England the chance to make the playoffs.
its the same team that started against Moldova with the exception of Hart being back in.

England have defeated Ukraine 3-1, but with Poland winning 4-0 in Moldova England have failed in there bid to reach the World Cup in Brazil and must now watch from home. England will look back at the Montenegro defeat in Montenegro as the point where they lost control of there own destiny.
