Promoted and relegated.

Nope, not injured once, always fit for the match, what a lad!, and we will!! :P

Transfer window is open.

Out with the old, in with the new.

Another ludacris intake of players for the Mansfield squad, but money provided by the loss of big earners in the squad allow them to do this, also their financial structure reshapes and changes from insecure to okay giving the team stability to work upon, and try to gain a higher reputation and financial set-up and structure.

First in is the strong Scotsman Stuart Armstrong, who signed on a free transfer from Dundee Utd, a deal which has rattled the teams midfield, knowing that they will know have to fight for a place in the squad now this player has arrived.

Next up is a Scotsman who just recently got called up to the Scotland national team, only playing one game however. Maybe a promising young player, and one to watch out for in the future, he is being closely watched by Premier league team Derby, to team up with England wonderkid Will Hughes. He was signed on a free transfer.

A backup keeper, and one for the future, will be offered out on loan, bought on a free transfer.

Next up is the pacey and experienced Jimmy Kebe, who was bought on a free transfer after rejecting several contract renewals at reading, was pleased to join mansfield after building a strong relationship with Brocklesby, will play a key role on the wings.

Ex Qpr man moves on a free transfer, giving the team aggression, power, and a more experianced player when needed, also boosting shirt sales.

Loans in.

Placed in the West Ham reserved, the once England U21s star moves on a season long loan, with Mansfield paying nothing of his wages, also trying to give Mark a real love for the club, that maybe he could sign perminantly, will bring his teamwork skills and his brutal determination to the squad.

Dubbed by Mansfield boss Liam Brocklesby, as one of the greatest performers on a pitch he personally has ever seen, again placed in the reserves and marked as an unwanted player signed with Mansfield paying nothing of his wages, also with the aim of Fabian falling in love with the club.

Back for another season, the Man Utd and Premier League flop has joined the forces and aims to gain promotion for the club that he claims "believed in him", who also publicly admitted that would love to join the team permanently, Mansfield paying nothing of his wages.

The once Stoke regular joined on a season long loan, bringing acceleration, and a constant work rate, and sheer determination to score goals, Mansfield paying nothing of his wages.

Players out.

Championship teams clear out the squad.

An astonishing £8Million pounds made for the Mansfield team, which helped pay of the debt the club are in, some of which was pumped into the wages to sign replacements.

A quick catch up.

Look at him know.

Robert Thompson was signed by Mansfield in the first season for a measly £20K, he made 33 appearances but only managed to score 6 goals, because of the tactical instructions to get the ball to Matt Green, however receiving an average rating of 7.07. After the first season, Mansfield gained easy promotion to League 2, and Thompson was looking exited to being a part of the squad, until Championship team Wolves recognized his potential and wrapped up a massive deal of £1Million pounds for the player, little the team, and the manager Liam Brocklesby knowing how gradually this player would turn out to be a right gem, and one day could become a top top Premier League player. Thompson arrived at Molineux and became a first team regular in no time at all, giving him 38 appearances and a mere 10 goals to his name, at the end of the season.

However this talent was spotted by scouts at Premier League team Swansea City, who then went on to buy Robert for a massive £6.25Million, a big three years for the young and up and coming player, and a lot of big changes, who knows where he will go next and how big this player can actually get, only time will tell. If the Stags would have known the potential.

What a great update mate, absolutely brilliant signings, all of the loans and Ferdinand. Good luck for next season, but I'm sure you will dominate with that team of your's ;)

Mansfield call for backup.

After releasing last seasons two main strikers and the strike force that gained the stags promotion to the championship, Mansfield were in dire need of an experienced forward, who is used to the top tiers of the football league. Until today, when entering the stadium was ex Celtic and West Brom Forward, also French Guiana international player, Marc-Antoine Fortune. Coming in on a free transfer, the player brings bags of experience, and determination, which would be perfect, for if the team are behind as this player will come on to drive the team forward to try and score after half time, which was emphasized by Mansfield manager Liam Brocklesby, as he drove forward the fact that, "Fortune will not be first choice, but will definitely be used in times of doubt and low points in the game". On a measly £2.5K a week, Fortune is hardly an issue when it comes to over payed experienced players, which was a huge factor in why manager Liam Brocklesby signed this player.

I love that picture :P
