It hasn't been updated in almost two weeks.

Taking a break from it all mate. Dont see much point anyways. All i wanted was to be nominated for story of the month but it biased so it dm -.-

Ive been following this story since the start and am gutted as if it looks like its over.

I enjoyed the thread so much that i started my own Mansfield save and bought alot of the same players as Liam...

...and so far im having equally the same success if not more so. Im currently four seasons in, three successive promotions, 2 Johnstone paint trophies and im top in the championship in January!

I'd be happy to continue posting my story here if i have liams permission..
I wouldnt want to rival his thread by posting my own mansfield story in a separate thread...

I Can post updates on my previous seasons and then more regular updates as i progress in real time. I've had some cracking results lately. Premiership teams have been falling by the wayside in the stags cup runs this season!

My plan is to play 10 seasons and hopefully WIN the premiership and champs league. I also have a side plan of buying mainly (but not solely British players) and will avoid regens when i can so you guys can go out and buy the same players!

I can perhaps post a few transfer targets for when (not if cause i know you will win League 1) you hit the Championship.

Liam, there are plenty of quality stories on FM Scout, including yours. As that's the case, there are some stories that are better than the rest. Your story is fantastic but the judge simply think there are other much better stories. Don't let this dissuade you from continuing this quality of a story. Keep up the consistency and maybe we will see an SotM nomination soon
