Who Am I?

For this story, I will be taking the roll of Chelsea goalkeeper, Petr Cech.

Cech's career will have ended after he injures his skull once again, this time, forcing his career to be put to an end. Cech, who has already earned his badges, behind the scenes, will join Sparta Prague as the head coach.

Why Sparta Prague?

It is a club that interests me. It is one of the central European giants, and is in a league where it can easily dominate, but Europe- that's a different story. I think Cech, an ex-player for Sparta, can lead them to glory. I like the idea of playing a club who do not have a massive budget and a world-beater team, but have a chance at being the best in their nation, and Sparta Prague are exactly that type of team.

Cech Injury Could Prove Very Serious

http://chelsea.theoffside.com/files/2008/08/cobham2.jpg
Petr Cech reportedly injured his skull in a Chelsea training session last night, and the injury could prove extremely costly to the London blues. The severity can not yet be pinpointed, but a tweet from Chelsea's official twitter account hinted that it could be serious.

Wishing well to #petrcech, can't confirm anything yet but fingers are crossed. #CFC

Cech is currently in hospital, and will be receiving a scan over the next few days. The keeper will certainly be out for several months, but if this injury is a career ender or not remains to be seen, causing many problems for Chelsea, leaving few options open for a replacement keeper.

Fans and players have shown their support to Cech over the internet, wishing the shot-stopper all the best, and hoping that the re-aggravation of the injury that put him out for around four months, but this time, it is sure to be worse.
Good luck Toon, should be interesting :)

Btw, you might want to change your signature :P

Injury Forces Cech To Call It A Day

http://img.youtube.com/vi/pPb7LG-o3z8/0.jpg
Though for several weeks it has been plain to see, today, Petr Cech officially announced his retirement from professional football. Cech has spent the last week at home, recuperating, and is only now ready to speak to the public, he did this through the form of a video released by Chelsea.

"I am very sad to say that my skull injury has forced me to retire from pro football." Cech began, visibly emotional, but spoken calmly. "I have had such a rewarding career and it is so disappointing that it has ended now, before I am even past my peak. I am just glad that we managed to win the Champions League before it came to an end. It is an excellent way to finish your career."

The Czech-Rep custodian was questioned on whether his presence in world football was over, and he was adamant in his answer. "Most certainly not. My time is not over yet. When I first injured my skull, I earned some coaching badges, which I plan to use now. Chelsea offered me a spot as a Goalkeeping coach, which I respectfully denied. I love this club but I want more than that."

Roman Abramovic spoke up on the case to press, accompanied by Frank Lampard. "This is a very sad day, but one where we can be grateful for having such a talented goalkeeper's career spent mostly at this club." Abramovic began. "We wish him luck in his future exploits. Maybe one day he will return." Lampard also piped up, praising the keepers skills. "Petr was a fantastic person to work with, Chelsea are losing an irreplaceable component. We won't be able to get an equal to him, we'll just have to make a compromise."

Despite Chelsea's recent manager problems, Cech is not on the radar to be the next head-coach at Stamford Bridge, Ambramovic joked with journalists, "He is inexperienced, we will let him go out, make a name for himself before we talk about things like that."

Interviewing Cech any further is out of the question, as he has departed the UK with his family to the Mediterranean, where he is taking a break from football. When he returns from his holiday, however, nobody knows what his next step will be.
I'd be disappointed if he was any good :P

Jaroslav H?ebík was released from his duty as manager of Sparta Prague this week following the board's annual review. The squad did not boast many impressive results across the season, H?ebík's stint in charge portraying Sparta as a mediocre candidate for the title. Despite this, they finished second, which, to the fans and board, was not good enough, the central European giants expected to top the division, or at least, pose a serious threat to first place.

Odds on next @ACSparta_CZ head coach. V.Lavi?ka 3/1, J.Chovanec 7/1, P.?ech 9/1.

The man who is widely expected to succeed H?ebík is Vít?zslav Lavi?ka, who has spent his last few seasons managing Sydney FC, but admitted that he will not be renewing his contract with the Australian outfit. He revealed to public that he missed his family back in the Czech Republic, and wished to return home. He told them he would be looking for a job in the country, or at least within a certain distance, hinting that he could be rejoining the club that he has had several spells managing and playing for.

Another serious contender is Jozef Chovanec, who has already managed the club an amazing four times and played there 3 times He may be returning to make his eighth signing for the club as he is yet to find a new job after his last spell. However, he is reportedly in talks with UAE club, Baniyas, which knocks him off favorite spot for the job.

The third name thrown in to the mix is Petr Cech, who recently announced his retirement from professional football and revealed that he has already earned coaching badges, meaning he could make the step up from player to coach in a matter of weeks. Though many think this is far-fetched, Sparta have somewhat of a habit of signing ex-players to manager the club, and Cech is perhaps one of the most infamous ex-Sparta players in the modern era.
Jozef Chovanec for Sparta manager! :P I really like the updates so far though, keep it up, this looks great so far :D
