I have decided to go with West Brom for my first story on my new account, and have chosen to go with one of the clubs former players as the manager. Feedback would be appreciated as it's my first story and i hope to challenge for Europe in the first two seasons.

Georgie Thompson- "Good morning sports fans, we have some exciting news in the transfer window today, but first we can reveal that West Brom manager Steve Clark has stepped down from his position at the club just weeks into the job due to personal reasons. West Brom fans will be wondering who could be coming in to the Hawthorns hot seat as they look to start pre-season with a bang".
looking forward to reading this story, hopefully you will be better than me at writing consistently.
Good start mate, keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing the Baggies in Europe soon! :)

Jim White- "We are going live down to The Hawthorns to interview Jeremy Peace, the chairman of West Brom. He will be speaking to us about the vacant managerial position at West Brom and we hope to find out more". W- White, P- Peace

W- "Well Jeremy, we know of the vacant managers position, so can you tell us of any targets?"
P- "Yes Jim, i can, the whole of the board along with director of football Richard Garlick, have been searching intensely for a new manager, and we have got three targets. Nigel Adkins is our main target after he was sacked as Southampton manager, we are also looking into the possibility of bringing Roberto Di Matteo back as manager. Our last target will remain unknown, but we at the club believe the fans will like him".
W- Thankyou Jeremy, we look forward to your appointment of manager and hope the best for your club".

Jim White- "Breaking news at The Hawthorns as the clubs managerial hunt is now over. Chairman Jeremy peace has hired a man the fans will really take a liking to. West Brom's former centre forward Cyrille Regis has been hired to lead the club to glory. Speaking to sky sports news just moments ago he had this to say".

Regis- "I'm delighted to be back at the club, obviously there has been major changes from when i was last here as a player, but it's a great feeling to walk through the gates of the stadium knowing your here to a job and make the fans happy. My targets will be to get the club into Europe and just see what happens after that".

First Signings!

West Brom have signed 16 year old striker Cammy Smith from Abderdeen for a fee of £500k. Manager Cyrille Regis said- "He's a young lad with heaps of potential, i just hope i can see him in the first team in the next few years".

The club have also re-signed 27 year old centre back Curtis Davies from Birmingham for a fee of £7.5m. Regis' opinion on this transfer was quite simple, "He's obviously a player the fans respect and they are not going to be happy with the high fee but that's what we had to pay to get him back. I hope he can be a key influential player for us for a good few years to come".
awesome Curtis Davies signing :) i look forward to this

18 year old striker Carlos Fierro joins us for £4m from Chivas, where he will be rotated into the first team squad and i aim to develop him into a world beater.

18 year old attacking midfielder Mattheus joins for £925k from Flamengo, where he could get more first team football than people expect and i hope to turn him into a regular for Brazil.
