Johnson leaves Luverdense for Kaizer Chiefs

Former Luverdense manager Ralph Johnson has joined South African team Kaizer Chiefs after winning the Copa Libertadores for Luverdense. "I did what I could in Brazil but I felt it was time for a change and to come to such a massive club like Kaizer Chiefs, I can't wait to get started and start winning stuff which I'm sure everyone wants us to do." Said the new Kaizer Chiefs manager.

Yeah, massive XD

Kaizer Chiefs breeze through Champions League Preliminary Round

Ralph Johnson's Kaizer Chiefs breezed through the Preliminary Round of the African Champions League after winning 12-0 on aggregate against Gabon side MangaSports, the highest aggregate score in the round. In the first leg, at the Peter Mokaba Stadium Kaizer Chiefs won 8-0, with a hat-trick from Kingston Nkatha, a brace from Bongani Ndulula and other goals from Lucky Baloyi, Sibusiso Vilakazi and newly signed Rodolfo Zelaya. In the second leg at Stade Henri Sylvoz ground in Gabon Kaizer Chiefs won by half the score, 4-0 with a hat-trick from Bongani Ndulula and one goal from another new signing, the Serbian Vladimir Jovancic.
Nice work mate, hopefully you will win the next one :)

The Kaizer Chiefs this season so far

Cheers, I've seen about two so far but then they just stop so I want to go all the way, I've won a champions league so far so I'm one fifth of the way there haha

Kaizer Chiefs win the league!

Ralph Johnson has added another trophy to his cabinet, the South African Premiership and they've won it 5 games before the actual season ended. This is Ralph Johnson's seventh trophy in his career in the 3 years he has been in football manager.

Kaizer Chiefs advance in the Champions League

A few days after winning the league, the Amakhosi have kept their hopes of winning the African Champions League up by winning 4-2 on aggregate against Moroccan side Raja Casablanca in the 1st round of the biggest African Champions League. Going into the second leg, all pressure was on Kaizer Chiefs after losing 2-0 in the first leg, Amakhosi's manager Ralph Johnson blamed the loss on the national teams for taking their best players on international duty but in the second leg Kaizer Chiefs showed what they were missing in the first leg by thrashing Raja Casablanca 4-0 (Rodolfo Zelaya x2,Sibusiso Vilakazi, Kingston Nkatha) in front of 20,000 loyal Kaizer Chiefs fans
Note: The Season review will be coming up soon.
Some good updates mate, keep this up :D

Who were the Kaizer Chiefs best players?

Bongani Ndulula: Ndulula was probably the best player in Africa last season with 63 goals in 47 matches in all competitions is just unbelievable.

Vladimir Jovancic: The Serbian arrived late on in the season but helped the Kaizer Chiefs with 16 goals in 18 games in all competitions

Rodolfo Zelaya: Zelaya is another one who arrived late on last season but his helpful assists and chipping in with the odd goal helped the Amakhosi a lot

Itumeleng Khune: Khune was the rock at the back last season, if there's one person you want between the sticks it's Khune, with 21 clean sheets overall and only conceding 37 in 46 games you can see why Khune is number 1 keeper

Kaizer Chiefs into the final!

Following a 5-1 aggregate victory over ES Tunis in the semi-finals of the African Champions League, Ralph Johnson is looking for his 2nd consecutive Champions League trophy. Kaizer Chiefs will meet fellow South African team SuperSport United in the final, but if Johnson wins the Champions League, will he ditch the Amakhosi like he did with Luverdense? Time will tell but Amakhosi are already 7 games into the Premier League and hold a 7 point lead on 2nd placed Sundowns and another positive is that Kaizer Chiefs have already beaten SuperSport in the league 2-1 can they repeat that in the African Champions League?

Kaizer Chiefs win African Champions League

Ralph Johnson has guided another team to continental glory, the Kaizer Chiefs won 8-0 in the first leg at home to SuperSport United then in the second leg lost but it didn't matter because it was 10-3 altogether, Amakhosi manager Ralph Johnson is no stranger to winning continental competitions after guiding then Brazilian Second Division side Luverdense to the Copa Libertadores last year, but the question now is the managerial mastermind going to move clubs again like he did with Luverdense after he won the Copa Libertadores or will he stay at the Amakhosi?
