News just in that a no life, obese weirdo has been given such a prestigious job. We will bring you an update in the next few hour on who the team is and most importantly the person who has the job.
Sky Sports calling someone a 'no life, obese weirdo'.. that's a new one. And since when did Vanuatu become presitigious... :P

Seriously though, good luck, hope the next few updates are good ones. :)

Today we found out that Adam Stubbs. an unknown manager from England got the job managing the Vanuatu national team. Adam Spoke to us earlier and told us about the club

Adam: I was shocked when they offered me the job, id never heard of Vanuatu, so I did a little research and booked my flights down here. We are 169th in the world rankings. Pretty low I know but I once took Zimbabwe to be the best team in the world on Football Manager, so I am positive that I can take Vanuatu far in real life!.
Anyone who has seen An Idiot Abroad will know about this, but this is the face of Vanuatu:

Good luck Adam :P
Have you heard of Paul Watson? He's a guy from Bristol who, after England failed to qualify for Euro 2008, took the job of the worst national team of Pohnpei. This won't be much easier but I'll be following B)

Hopefully Karl Pilkington will register as a Vanuatu Citizen. He can play upfront :P

Many hours I sat in my office with a glass of whiskey in my hand wondering what I had got myself into, as I flicked through the players list. A few of the players stood out to me. Unfortunately there wasn't enough to make a world cup winning side.

Soromon was the guy who stood out the most, the rest of the team wouldn't even make it into my local Sunday Team.

As I Studied the fixture list for the end of 2012, I thought to myself I can win 4/5 of the games we have.
The only game that worried me was the game a against New Zealand. Yes it was a home game but New Zealand are a wrecking force in the Oceania area.

The Fixture are as followed:

I had a tough decision picking the squad for the Tonga game. I also had to pick a captain who do I pick ?!?

So for the first game I took my assistants advice on which team to choose. I guess it was good enough. Maybe.

Also days before my first game in charge I choose my first ever captain. I'm guessing it was a good choice. I don't really know. Nobody said anything to me

It was that time! My first game in charge of the mighty Vanuatu. Tonga away.

In the first half we dominated, we looked the better team. We had a goal disallowed, I thought it was a goal but it was ruled out for offside. From that moment we kicked on.
We carried our fine form from the first half into the second. and finally after 54 minutes we scored. Soromon with the goal. Moments after August-Marango scored a superb goal. Soromon wrapped the game up after 66 minutes with his second of the game.

Good job, Tonga aren't a massive side but a 3-0 win against any team is good.
Great to start with a 3-0 win :)

I'm a Vanuata fan since I won 2006 World Cup with them on Nitendo DS so I will follow this story :P
Good win in your first game :)

It was hard again to pick my squad for the next 2 games against Fiji and Solomon Island
So again i went with my assistants choice. i will probably do this till i get use to the team.

So i thought i could get 2/2 in the next 2 games, the squad was good enough (I think)

We had a good first half against Fiji. We out played them but we just couldn't finish our chances. So at half time i mad a few changes one being Pita David Maki. He pushed us and made the team play even better and in the 92nd minute Maki scored to give us a vital win.

A few days after we played the Solomon Islands, i thought it was a easy win for my main team (The players who started against Fiji) but i had to make a lot of changes as my team were tired.
We couldn't control possession and in the 23rd minute they scored followed up with another goal minutes after. In the second half they out played us just like the first and they scored there final goal.

We next play New Zealand (H) and then Fiji (A)
