I use a similar training schedule as the one I used in FM09 - http://www.fmscout.com/i-621-Welcome-to-Manchester.html

Regarding training, set the sliders all the way to the left.

*7 clicks right maintains levels in a training area.
*13 clicks begins improving levels in training area.
*19 clicks stops improvement size - anything beyond 19 only increases improvement speed.

If you remind me, I can send you my most up to date training schedule when I get in front of my home comp. It's pretty easy to make your own schedules, however. Just pick a handful of attributes that you deem most important and decide which ones you want to train hard/medium/light. From there I set my sliders at 19/13/7, watching to make sure I don't take the overall regimen to "hard". Using this method I've never had anyone complain about training and I use the same method regardless of the level I start at.

please send me your updated schedules ... so that i can play around with mine.

would you recommend having some schedules at 0? since 7 maintains the levels, should 7 be the base rather than 0?

also what about youth training schedules? will the same rules apply to them?

There are a few areas that I set at zero. For example, I don't have anyone practice goalkeeping except for my keepers, so that is set at 0 for every other position. I'll see about uploading the training schedule to the website today.

Youth schedules I haven't worked on much. Youth players tend to have a lower threshhold so you can't train nearly as many areas nearly as hard. I usually focus on training up everyone's stamina and then pick maybe one or two areas to focus on. You can't train many more than that without bumping the overall regimen to "hard".

yeah i realized that on the youth, so I reduced the overall training... but so far it is working out... i did put some attributes like goalkeeping 0 for the outfield players and the new season will hold some promises..... i just ended the season winning the treble, improving my finances and ending being the 3rd richest club in the world just behind Barca and Real Madrid!

The only downfall is that Manchester United did not hire me as Sir Alex Ferguson's replacement when he retired!

But otherwise thanks for the tactics.... been experimenting with wrongfooted players on the wings (left footed on the right wing) and been giving me some pretty good results, fabio on the left wing back has score a goal for me so that is good.

Thanks for the help bud!
