It's a long shot but you might still be able to get Matías Lequi on a free transfer, fantastic player just a little on the slow side. Failing that perhaps Bobo Baldé.

It doesn't matter if they are on the slow side as the MLS isn't that pacey apart from the odd speed demon. Lequi has retired, but Bobo looks like a good buy, the only problem is i need to wait until my season is half way, as the mls starts in jan/feb.

Look for LB's to get on loan, from the super clubs e.g Real, Barca, Arsen, United e.t.c, for the season as the original LB may not be fully up to scratch by then.

I got him at the start of the second season did cost me a wopping 26million BUT he will easily become the best RB on the game and ill have him for over 10 seasons. So well worth it.

Yeah I tried to sign him for spurs, but got priced out by Sevilla made do with Corluka and David Santon though

Just a suggestion. Anyone who needs a forward, Steven Fletcher. Buy him every time for my Celtic saves, he scored 30 a season in one. He is always around or above 20 goals a season, and only around 2m. I partnered him with Kerrison and also Lewandoski, they made an amazing partnership. Another amazing player is Diego Buonanotte AMLC, the next Messi

Just starting my 3rd season with Celtic, i have a young CB called Leo, a Brazilian from Gremio i think, already have Liverpool, Arsenal and Bayern bid for him, still only 21.
Also signed Alex from Chelsea even though i didnt think he would come near us, but he did and he more than makes up for the inconsistancy of the young Leo. If you still have him O'Dea is also far more consistant than McManus or Kennedy or Caldwell.
CM i have Anderasson from Spurs and Maduro. Both handy at free kicks and penalties.
Might have to offer split bids or sell sell sell to get these guys, but worth it imo.
Zigic is also a fairly decent striker if yer looking for a target man.

Problem is i cant get anyone half decent to come to me! Got Nesmanchyi (LB) but he likes to misplace all his passes and Naylor has a stinker every second match. RB i have Caddis, consistant but unspectacular and Hinkel, never has a decent game.
Insua/Bale/Zaccardo et al will not come to me even for the full 80k a week. :weep

Phil Nevile is he hasn't retired yet, Possibly Luke Young, might get Silvestre?, they are all cheap people who to buy, withy experience. But if you want youth you need to start looking at those performing around you.

joe mattock is a life saver for LB. and try daniel opare for RB

RB - Vanden Borre, amazing, if you tell him to make forward runs and cross from the byline he's amazing, can beat anyone down the line.
