Stalemate September

We are still yet to be defeated in the premier league which is very good as the media has predicated us to finish a measly 20th. Sitting in 7th place, 6 points away from the top, is an effort we can justly be proud of.

Reading Player of the Month:
Alex Peace. Not only did he win reading player of the month but he also won Player of the month on the premier league for his consistent performances in the back as well as his influence as a captain on the team. Performing well against Manchester Untied to deny them a rampage and possibly enabling us to score more than the 2 we scored against them.

"I have flourished under Ruud"

http://i50.tinypic.com/10ygbhw.jpg
Adam Federici has been in inspiring form early in this season, maintaining clean sheets as well as being the "extra man in defence". Winning the Reading player of the month in August, and pulling off uncompromisable saves against teams such as Everton, Stoke and Manchester Untied.
"Ruud is a brilliant manager, not only has he brought in brilliant players to accompany those already at stoke but underlying this, his management of the staff as been excellent, the goalkeeping coaches have really taught me the trade of shot stopping. And Id like to thank them for that."
Ruud added: "It is a pleasure to have someone like Adam as our goalkepper, Underrated? yes. I believe he is the best in the premier league and could walk into any team and challenge for those top positions. Pure brilliance."

Reading 1 - 4 Tottenham
Adam Le Fondre

Reading player of the Month:
Despite our 10 game unbeaten run coming on the back of three defeats, Adam Le fondre still consistently got on the score sheet and managed to create chances in a stagnant team which didn't look up for it. His goals as well as his assists earn him 1 player of the week this month as well as him assisting Pavel Pogrebnyak goal to give us our only win of the month.

Nice transfers! Keep it up and you could challenge for top half!
Unlucky against Spurs, but doing great so far in the Prem. Keep up the good work and maybe you can push for Europa :D

Not (so good) November

After a terrific start to the season, a raw form of reality hit the Madejski Stadium as we continue to fall down the table but on the bright side, the table is extremely tight with 3 points separating 3rd and 12th.

I wouldn't say you didn't do good? You lost to 3 of the best teams in the Prem.

It's not them games you need to be winning, it's the games you won you need to be winning!

Keep it up!

Defence

http://i50.tinypic.com/dh7gcx.jpg
Reading currently stand 11th place in the table, If the premier league was judged on the amount of goals conceded, Reading would be 7th. If goals scored, Reading would be 8th. What does this say about Reading? That offensively they are sound and getting the goals to potentially challenge for a Europa League Position but defensively they are lacking in enough to see out wins or lessen defeat margins for goal difference purposes.
Readings Defensive coach, Nigel Gibbs added: "We opted on keeping our defensive back four the vaguely the same from last season where we won the championship. Ruud had major trust in Kaspars as well as Adrian and Alex but they haven't delivered fully to his expectations. Most teams which are promoted spend largely their transfer budget on improving the defence, we didn't, and Ruud and I will stand by that decision regardless of what happens. We just have to work on the training ground to tighten up our defence and the boys are willing to work harder".
Some good results keep it up.
Good results mate, once the defence improves, I see you getting into Europe! :D

After struggling to break the knot of the combo of Adam le fondre and Pavel Pogrebnyak, he came to life consistently over the white month. His goals were not only vital but were emphatic as he scored a few wonder goals which did keep the fans standing and cheering on the team.

Great moves in the transfer market. Gorkss and Pearce look like a solid partnership! I hope that you get on the EL!

Karacan handed new lucrative contract

http://i45.tinypic.com/1583txu.jpg
Jem Karacan has been handed a new 4 year contract worth 3.5 Million Pounds.
Jem karacan added "I am delighted to be committing my immediate future to Reading, we are only going up with the new appointment of Ruud and I am oustanded and amazed that I am part of such a prolific period for Reading".
Karacan and 5 others including Alex Pearce renewed their contracts with Reading F.c, Jem Karacan, being the most lucrative, reports say Ruud was eager to tie this up as soon as possible to avoid loosing him as the "new man city", Southampton, were showing major interest in signing the 23 year old Turkish international.
Brilliant, I LOVE Karacan: i had him on a network game with Chelsea on FM12, and he was in world team of the year. Great work mate :)
