End Of Season Overview

This season has been quite surprising but as we got closer to the end, we could of possibly pushed for a continental competition position, but it wasn't just to me. The fact, I spent under 4 Million Pounds to transform a npower championship team into a top Premier league team was defiantly the highlight of the season.

League Position

This season has been quite good for us, we have a few unbeaten runs during our quest to initially stay in the division. Their has been a wealth of greed on my part to ask a bunch of championship players to qualify for the Europa league, but hey, we were pretty close and it our fate was literally decided in the last 2 games, when we lost to Wigan and Newcastle built an unassailable point gap above us.

Tactic

This was our primary tactic and was used all season. It left us in the lurch quite a number of times defensively but attacking wise it work a treat. We weren't no Barcelona in terms of possession scraping 50%, is most games but we got the results. Preferably works better if our team was a little bit more taller and better in the air and overall stronger.

Transfers

Royston Drenthe: 7/10
His versatility was outstanding, dropping in as a full back when needed but capable to play on the wing. Bagging, 2 goals and 6 assists this season with an average rating of 6.91, was average but his performances did take a dip due to his lack of discipline and will be more than likely be leaving this summer.
Clint Hill: 5/10
When he did feature in the team, 6 times this season, he was not really as effective and struggled to break through the team the entire season. 1 assist.
Nigel Reo Coker: 6.5/10
At times was very solid, but wasn't as consistent as expected. He did extremely well learning the full back role and dominating that position for a good part of the season. Bagging 2 assists.
Wellington Nem: 8.5/10
Our record signing had a above average start to his career at reading, wasnt brilliant but defiantly above average. Featuring in team of the year. Bagging 5 goals and 12 assists.
Barry Ferguson: 7.5/10
Solid, all throughout the season, breaking into the first team at points but struggled to stay their after he didn't produce anything special. Bagged 2 assists.
Damian Martinez: 6/10
Bought for 2.5m, I expected a little better from him. But he season was very small and played 6 games and conceded 7.
Zenden: 6.5/10
His time here was largely fulfilled on the bench, when called upon, was solid.
Tom Hateley:5/10
Never really settled as an advaned playmaker, and his time was largely on the bench.

Finances

16 MILLION POUNDS PROFIT!

Goals For Next Season

1.Get into the Europa League
2.Get into the latter stages of a domestic competition
3.Have a sustainable goal difference(+20)
4.Get rid of any dead wood
5.Bring in some New faces
Great, but 2.6M for Martinez seems that you got ripped off.
