He scored another just like that in the Serie A too!
Epic updates mate such a crap way to go out of the Champions League I hate Barcelona more now haha but awesome work on regaining top spot from Juve. They just need to realise they're not going to win it and go away quietly haha
jasonvilla4ever: Yup he's a legend, glad to have him at the club :D

Okikos: It's hard to forget :P

KingPadster: Yes against Genoa I believe, he had amazing technique on those kinds of shots

k1rups: Yeah it was a tough loss :( Happy to be back ahead in Serie A though, stupid Juventus just don't give up!

A solid game from us. Juventus managed to get two red cards at home to Atalanta and lost 1-0 and so now we are 5 points clear. We did not generate much offense but one chance from a corner kick was all we needed. We can wrap up the title next weekend against Palermo in front of our own fans, but we will have to be better up front than this.

Inter 3-1 Palermo

CAMPIONI! CAMPIONI! We are the champions of Serie A, the Scudetto is coming home to Inter for the 3rd straight season! We played brilliantly and thoroughly deserved this crown. Raheem Sterling was an absolute menace down the right hand side after replacing Coutinho, and he's given me some food for thought to include wingers in my tactic next season.

Cesena 1-2 Inter

Serie A
Starting XI (4-3-1-2)
Handanovic (c); Peruzzi, Ranocchia, Luiz, Mbaye; Poli, Zanetti, Sissoko, Coutinho; Ademilson, Destro

Substitutions

Mbaye, Zanetti, Coutinho

And the Serie A season ends with a day of landmarks for Inter Milan. 18 year old Brazilian center back Emerson Luiz scored his first ever Inter Milan goal from a corner kick and won Man of the Match, I'm very happy for him. It's all about Javier Zanetti, however. This was his last ever Serie A appearance and his 650th Serie A appearance, and he received a wonderful standing ovation as he was subbed off in the 89th minute.

Serie A

CAMPIONI! Inter Milan win the Scudetto for the third time in a row! For the first time under my reign, however, we did not reach 100 points. This was, technically, our worst season in Serie A despite an incredible 31 wins. I am happy we could win the Serie A for our retiring Javier Zanetti.

Coppa Italia

The final is in one week, and I want nothing more for the club than to complete the domestic treble of the Supercoppa, Coppa, and Serie A. We must defeat Fiorentina to win the Coppa, and it will be Javier Zanetti's last official match. There is no option: we must win this match and this cup for him.

Player of the Month

My player of the month is Andrea Poli who managed to help the team with 2 assists and get a 7.6 average rating from those 3 games including a great game against Udinese.

Monthly Review

Well, there's only one thing we need speak of about this month: THE SCUDETTO IS OURS! This is the greatest feeling in the sport, to bring home a major trophy you've fought for all season long, for the fans, for everyone at the club. The players fought so hard in what was the tightest Serie A race against Juventus I've experienced as a manager, but we managed to pull away and ultimately win the league by 7 points.
Those logos are absolutely beautiful hahaha great month mate but not reaching 100 points is a shambles :p haha unlucky man 99 is insane! Look forward to the next update!

Brilliant season for the Nerazzurri
k1rups: Thanks mate, I'm bummed not to hit triple digits for the third season running xP

KingPadster: Indeed it was, at least in Serie A. Juve put up a great fight, but we were too good :)
Great stuff Neal! Looks amazing, great effort and it's a great season on my eyes!

Try going Unbeaten next season and I want to see Zanetti back as a coach too :D
Congratulations, I second Padster's challenge. :)
PaukerJ: Cheers mate, it was a great league run :)

KingPadster and Okikos: I've done it twice already, I can certainly do it again ;) BTW Okikos you got the 400th reply :D
100 points next season! :P
Great job once again Neal ;)

Coppa Italia Final

Rab: Welcome all to the Coppa Italia final which will be contested by Inter Milan and AFC Fiorentina. I'm Rab alongside my co-commentator Oki and we'll be covering the match for you today.
Oki: Thanks Rab, it should be a cracking game today. Inter of course will be the heavy favorites but Javier Aguirre and his men will be motivated to get a trophy. Let's take a look at the starting elevens.

Rab: Quite a surprise there, Bergomi opting to start in a 4-3-3 formation that he rarely used all season. Coutinho and Destro are going to be key for Inter today, both have been in top form.
Oki: I think we all know who the danger man is going to be for Fiorentina; Haris Seferovic. He's the only one in Serie A that's been able to keep up with Mattia Destro in terms of goal scoring and Ranocchia and Juan will have their hands full with him.
Rab: Looks like it's time for kick off, here we go!

5' Rab: It's a corner kick here for Inter early on in the match. Poli will go across to whip it in, plenty of targets for him in the box.
Oki: Good delivery in from Poli, Juan rises to it, JUST OVER! So close from Juan Jesus off the corner, Fiorentina lucky not to be down early on!
Rab: That would've been a dream start for Inter, and Juan will be kicking himself for that.

HT' Rab: Well a rather cagey half of football from both sides, neither team looking too adventurous. Fiorentina will be far the more pleased side so far.
Oki: Inter have looked far more threatening to be fair, but Fiorentina will take this. In the 2nd half they need to get Ricky Alvarez further forward to support Seferovic and help get some offense generated.

62' Oki: Nagatomo, brilliant skill from him there to jink past Romulo.
Rab: The Japanese international springs forward, past Silvestre as well, he's all the way into the box, he shoots, WHAT A GOAL!
Oki: WOW! Nagatomo dribbles 2 players and runs from the half line into the box and rifles the ball past Agazzi at the near post! 1-0 to Inter!

86' Rab: Here's Adam Ljajic trying to get an equalizer for Fiorentina late on in the match. Excellent skill to jink past Peruzzi, he's got space for a shot...
Oki: WHAT A SAVE! Samir Handanovic with a brilliant stop, sprawling to his left to paw it away. What a top class goalkeeper.
Rab: Fiorentina are pushing everyone forward to try and equalize here, it's all or nothing.

89' Oki: A touch of class here from Giusppe Bergomi, and the whole crowd, including the Fiorentina fans, are on their feet. On comes Javier Zanetti, legend of the game and Inter captain, to replace Raheem Sterling.
Rab: It's his last game before retirement, and though I'm sure Fiorentina want to spoil the party, you can see the respect for him. Handanovic has handed him the armband as well.

FT' Rab: IT'S ALL OVER! Inter win the Coppa Italia and complete their domestic treble! It was a narrow win in the end, but the fans wont care, it's yet another trophy for the Nerazzurri!
Oki: Zanetti is in tears here, everybody's with him, what a legend of the game he is, 41 years of age. Here we go, Zanetti lifts the Coppa Italia!

Domestic treble complete and Zanetti goes out on a high! No other way ;)
