Now that I know that I will be following your story with even more eagerness You have no idea how much it means to me when I've found out I've inspired someone. Thanks!
Lerin Duarte has arrived at Stoke from Hercales for £5.75m, his release clause for abroad clubs. He started his career in the youth department of Sparta, and made his first Eredivisie appearance in 2009. At the end of the 2010-2011 season Duarte transferred to Heracles Almelo. Duarte is expected to be used as a left sided midfielder for Stoke.
Stoke have also agreed to sign Renan Donizete from Flamengo after they matched his release clause. As he is 17 he cannot join Stoke until the transfer window after his 18th birthday, which is January 2014. Renan Donizete plays as an attacking midfielder.

Not the greatest of months, losing to Champions Manchester United wasn't a bad result but losing to newly promoted Nottingham Forest was. Stoke were having a poor day at the office and couldn't deal with the enthusiasm of Nottingham Forest. However a great win against Capital One Cup holders Newcastle followed by beating a decent Leicester side.

Stoke City's Player of the Month - Denis Stracqualursi
http://s1352.photobucket.com/user/GasHead94/media/14011364_zps55b41117.png.html
Stracqualursi has had a great month, scoring in 3 goals in 4 games. He's settled in well and has managed to keep both Kenwyne Jones and Peter Crouch out of the side.
Nice update, but the picture doesn't work
Unlucky with the results, you can come back even stronger!

Who is this Lerin Duarte? I've never heard of him. Could we get an SS?
And one of Stracqualasi too please

Carrick Makes Deadline Day Move
http://i2.dailypost.co.uk/incoming/article3003100.ece/ALTERNATES/s615/michael-carrick-3003100.jpg
Michael Carrick has joined Stoke City in the final hours of Transfer Deadline Day. Carrick joins Stoke from reigning Premier League champions Manchester United for a fee of £1.9m. Carrick requested a move away from Manchester United after the Champions brought in new players in his position, meaning there was no guarantee he would play many games, he had only played 5 games in their title winning season due to injury. Carrick wanted to remain in Manchester or in the surrounding area, so when Stoke came in for him it was an ideal move.
The only player to leave Stoke on deadline day was Wilson Palacios. Palacios was a player Stoke no longer required and his high wages meant they had to get him off of it. They sold him to Leeds United for £875k. He mad just 12 appearances for Stoke last season, all from the bench.

Stoke Announce Bristol Rovers Link
Stoke City are proud to announce that Bristol Rovers will now be an affiliate of the club. Current Stoke City manager Andy Tillson is a Bristol Rovers legend having played over 250 times for them, captaining the side over his time there and to this day is still their record signing. It's believed that Andy Tillson was key in making this arrangement happen.
As part of the link Stoke will be able to loan out players to Bristol Rovers, with their wages being paid by Stoke. Bristol Rovers are under no obligation to play these players and they can be recalled at anytime by Stoke. Bristol Rovers will host an annual friendly between the sides, with all of the gate receipts being kept by them.
Tillson - "This is a great opportunity for both Stoke and Bristol Rovers. They are a club dear to my heart, I love the club and the fans. I look forward to returning there".
