Andy Tillson - Pottering On

Tonight we have live coverage from the Capital One Cup Final where Stoke City under the management of Andy Tillson will take on Craig Brown's Brighton.

Kick off – Brighton get the game underway

10’ – Shawcross plays the ball out wide to Etherington. He crosses for Hernandez but his header is saved comfortably.

23’ – Etherington cuts in off the left wing. Side steps the challenge from Dunk. Shoots… GOAL!!!

25’ – Ulloa has been played on through. He slides the ball under Butland… GOAL!!!

HT

55’ – Hernandez takes the ball down the right. Whips in the cross. Stracqualursi heads the ball… GOAL!!! Disallowed for offside.

72’ – Wilson makes a mistake and is dispossessed by Ulloa. He shoots, OFF THE BAR!

FT – The whistle blows. The game will go to extra time.

94’ – Duarte plays the ball across the width of the pitch to Sulejmani. He crosses low, Dunk gets a touch but it’s straight into the path of Hernandez who shoots… GOAL!!!

105’ – Stoke have a corner, it’s played in by Wilson. It’s cleared out as far as Yttergard Jensen who shoots, Hernandez gets a stud on it and redirects the shot! GOAL!!!

FT – STOKE WIN! STOKE WIN THE CAPTIAL ONE CUP! THE PLAYERS ARE GO CRAZY! THE FANS ARE GO MENTAL IN THE STANDS! WHAT A NIGHT!

Stoke continued their fantastic run of form and are tightening their grip on a Top 4 finish and a place in the Champions League. Either way, they have now qualified for the Europa League with their Captial One Cup victory!

Stoke added a 6th win in 6 games over Arsenal under Andy Tillson which caused Wenger to come out and blast his side in the media but praise Andy and his work with Stoke.

Stoke City's Player of the Month - Ryan Shawcross

Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross had a fantastic month gaining 3 man of the match awards and he scored 2 goals.

Tillson's men continued their great form into the first 2 games of March, dispatching of West Brom and Fulham. Then came their first loss in 26 games, to Sunderland. Stoke had a bad day at the office with one eye on their midweek game against Manchester City. The record breaking run was stopped and morale was low and they became complacent against Manchester City. Stoke didn't let the 2 losses take them into free fall and demolished Manchester United to reach their 2nd domestic cup semi final this season. They then went on to run through Swansea as if they weren't there.

Steven N'Zonzi had an excellent month. The combative midfielder played his part in another great month of results for Stoke both defensively and attacking wise.

Another month unbeaten in the Premier League for Andy Tillson and his Stoke boys. The only loss of the month came in an unfortunate manner with a FA Cup semi final loss to Tottenham. The month started with a solid victory over Premier League strugglers Watford, dismantling them 5-0. A draw against QPR followed before another win against a team battling for survival in Charlton came. A loss in the FA Cup followed before they forced a draw against Tottenham in the league.

Stoke City's Player of the Month - Ryan Shawcross

Ryan Shawcross was again undoubtedly the best player for Stoke. The captain has become one of the nations best center backs over the course of the last two seasons.

To better your already brilliant story, you should include more 'news articles' on your save of fictional events happening around the club you're currently managing, in this case, Stoke. You can even make it up, like two players having a fight or something. Would be interesting to read instead of the normal results and transfers updates.

Unlucky against Spurs in the FA Cup but good job on that 5-0 thrashing. Appalled you drew with Queens Park Rangers though!
