To be fair, i did score the goal that took it to extra time :) i am gutted that i missed...hope i didnt slip like Terry did for Chelsea lol

Krishna finally talks about feuds


After completing a £60m move to PSG, former Man City star Arvind Krishna has spoken about the constant feuds in England and in particular, Manchester City.

"All the big players in England have developed an enormous ego. The problem are the inflated wages. Players don't play for the love of the game anymore. It's all for the money. They don't care about winning, they don't care about teammates or the fans. The entire summer they've been at each other's throats." he said.

Krishna finally opened up about the atmosphere in the City dressing room.

"It wasn't good. When I arrived everything was great, the guys who had been there for years like Toure and Tevez who were on high wages had left, so it was a new team. We enjoyed our game. But then as success came and our contracts ran out, the club offered a hell of a lot of money. Everyone got a new contract, and so did I. But in the summer, we got more players, on higher wages. But there was still one bitter person in the team. Jamie. He was still stuck with his original contract since he joined City in 2013. Everyone else was earning 10-50 times his wage. He wasn't happy, and he made that clear. That was what probably affected his performance."

Earlier in the summer, former teammate King - who joined Real Madrid - publicly stated his contempt for Krishna.

"For my first three seasons there, I was the top scorer of the club, and in two of those I was the top scorer in the league as well. Jamie was so jealous of me, because I earned more and scored more too. He felt it was injustice somehow. He didn't make an effort to hide it either."

Krishna also revealed how King stole his dream move to Real Madrid.

"All the lads knew how much I loved Real Madrid and wanted to move there. I tried to be friends with everyone. I had good relationships with Jeremy, Stanila, Cazan and everyone else - except Jamie. When the scouts came to watch City at the start of the season, they were looking at me. Jamie noticed them, and from then on, he stopped passing to me. He didn't want me to score. And as you would have noticed over the season, two or three times my shot was going into the goal but he got a touch on it on purpose so he could claim the goal. And the end, Real only saw the stats. He scored 31 goals, so they signed him instead. I was gutted I couldn't move to Real. But later on PSG came in for me, and I signed for them. In my eyes, City are a bigger club, but we just aren't winning anything at the moment because of the players. When I came in, I felt a bit lonely - I didn't know French either. The gaffer told us that he was going to sign an attacking midfielder, so I instantly recommended Jeremy. He was one of my best mates at City, but Antonio didn't give him any playing time despite the fact that he was signed for big bucks. City made him available for a transfer, so PSG signed him and I'm glad to have him here."

And finally, the English international also talked about City manager Antonio Conte.

"He was a great guy. He was a good man manager. I owe everything to him because he signed me, and I became successful under him. But damn, was he stupid! All the lads were pissed because we played five at the back, when we only had four defenders. We kept signing every other type of players except defenders. We had a left winger at full back, an attacking midfielder and a full back at center back. We had literally no depth in the defense - we were borrowing players from attack to play at the back. No one was happy about being played out of position. In the end, I think that's one of the reasons we weren't successful as a team."
