TAR WELCOMES NEW BARCELONA TEAMMATES AND SHARES ABOUT HIS LIFE IN SPAIN

Today we caught up with Africa's biggest star and worldwide football sensation Lutor Tar in his lovely home. Married with a son to pop star Jade Smith, the family man and midfield maestro took some time out to fill us in on life in Barcelona.

Here is the interview with our correspondent James Santiago.

JS: Good afternoon lutor.

L.T: afternoon james.

JS: you just clinched your second la liga title in a row, as well as the coveted champions league. How does you feel about these accomplishments?

L.T: (chuckles) well I won't lie its a great feeling. I am absolutely ecstatic about our accomplishments as a team. It was a long and hectic journey but it feels so good when it all works out well and you are rewarded.

JS: when you first came to barcelona, how soon did you expect to win trophies.

L.T: I must say, that very season. (Both laugh)

JS: so what has life been like in the camp nou?

L.T: it has been good. I have very wonderful team. We are like family. I still count it a huge honor to play alongside legends like mata, messi and neymar. I also find great comfort in my teammates my age like Jason Hunt,Jeff and Ash. They are family. Life in nou camp is very good.

JS: well barcelona have brought in a couple of fresh faces to strenghten the squad depth this season as well as arch rival Real Madrid. Do you feel threatened about your squad status? What do you think about madrids new signings?

L.T: I do not have any fears about my position in barcelona. I welcome all the new members of the family and I hope they enjoy their footballing days and more with us. I am not bothered about madrids new signings. It just means more rival players to beat. I feel sad for them. Having to adapt to being second best. (We both laugh).

JS: thank you for your time.

L.T: my pleasure.

After this interview, Barcelona goalkeeper Krupesh Shah took to twitter to express his sadness at Lutor for not considering him to be a close friend despite being an important factor in bringing Lutor to Barcelona and helping him settle in.

Am so sorry Shah, my bad.
And me! :(
Sorry JL. My bad.
Great euro games. These ladies are so distracting from the action though... :) lol
