Euros - Day 11 Update

4 games today with Czech Republic v Norway, Germany v Montenegro, Portugal v Greece and Romania v Holland


Czech Republic 1-2 Norway
Norway went all out and beat World Cup winners Czech with Stian Gundersen being the start of the match with 2 goals on the 26th and a penalty kick on the 41st minute, Jan Krejcik scored for the Czech in the 33rd minute. Zdenyak Zebroski played the entire match and received a average rating of 6.3.


Germany 1-0 Montenegro
Fabian Keller was the only scorer of the game for Germany with a 1-0 win over Montenegro.


Portugal 0-1 Greece
Portugal went down to fighting Greece with a brilliant 1-0 win with Panagiotis Tachstsidis scoring in the 29th minute. Delroy was suspended.


Romania 2-0 Holland
Romania managed to scrape a win after a 2-0 victory over Holland with Gabriel Torje scoring on the 4th minute and Laurentiu Buga scoring in the 70th minute. Cosmin Marian Stanila was subbed in the 38th minute but received a match rating of 7.2 while Cristian Cazan played the entire game receiving a match rating of 7.3.

Euros - Day 12 Update




4 games today with Denmark v Scotland, Poland v Turkey, Serbia v England and Sweden v Croatia.


Denmark 1-0 Scotland
Despite Denmark having 10 men they sitll managed to pull a victory out of the bag with a goal from Andrea Cornelius in the 81st minute. Jeff Carstensen received a average rating of 7.4.


Poland 2-1 Turkey
Poland scraped a victory with Turkey taking the lead on the 38th minute through Kreim Frei only for Robert Lewandowski to level on the 45th minute and Arkadiusz to take the the lead for Poland in the 72nd minute. Mark Peter Kolatowicz played the entire game for Poland and received a rating of 8.0.


Serbia 2-3 England
Serbia went 1-0 up in the 36th minute through Vladimir Srbu before England made it 2-1 in with Derrick Porritt on the 37th minute and Sam Magarry on the 38th minute, Lazar Markovic then scored for Serbia in the 74th minute which made it 2-2. Louis Ostrowski then scored in the 89th minute, Kane Brooker also left the pitch injured in the 12th minute. Krupesh Shah received a match rating of 6.3, Jozef Ostrowski received a match rating of 7.3, Ben Warner received a rating of 7.3 before being subbed, Louis Ostrowski the man of the match received a match rating of 8.7, Joshua Bean received a rating of 7.6.
Akash Vidyasagar received a rating of 7.3, Jamie King was subbed in the 37th minute and received a average rating of 5.9, Derrick Pottitt received a rating of 8.7, Ziechael received a rating of 7.6 and Sam Magarry received a rating of 7.2.
Lee Chatters, Liam Brocklesby, Arvind Krishna, JJ Lister and Josh Sleightholm despite being a sub did not feature.


Sweden 1-3 Croatia
Croatia came out on top with Alen Barukcic, Andejelko Cingulin and Zoran Cindric all getting on the score sheet with a consolation goal from Sweden in Melker Hallberg.

Euros - Day 13 Update, The Groups


So now we have a look at all the groups and see which teams qualified and which teams didn't.

Group A
So here how group a looks, Germany finished 1st on 9 points, Norway finished 2nd on 6 points, Czech Republic finished 3rd on 3 points and Montenegro finished 4th on 0 points.

Group B
Group B now and France are the leaders after they finished 1st on 9 points, Austria finished 2nd on 4 points, Ireland finished 3rd on 3 points and Italy finished 4th on 1 point.

Group C
Poland finished top on 6 points, Scotland finished 2nd on 6 points, Denmark finished 3rd on 6 points and Turkey finished 4th on 0 points.

Group D
England finished top on 9 points, Croatia finished 2nd on 3 points, Sweden finished 3rd on 3 points and Serbia finished 4th on 3 points.

Group E
Belgium was top on 6 points, Switzerland finished 2nd on 4 points, Wales finished 3rd on 4 points and Spain finished 4th on 3 points.

Group F
Romania finished 1st on 6 points, Portugal finished 2nd on 6 points, Greece finished 3rd on 6 points and Holland finished 4th on 0 points.

2 games in the Second Round today with Germany v Austria and Portugal v Belgium


Germany 3-1 Austria
Germany go through after a 3-1 win over Austria, Germany went 1-0 up through Onno Studer despite a leveler from Boris Barton on the 15th minute, Germany then shown there class and scored two more goals through Markus Marx and Fabian Keller.


Portugal 3-1 Belgium
Portugal also go through after a brilliant 3-1 victory of hopefuls Belgium, Cristiano Ronaldo was on form scoring in the 1st and 77th minute to make it 2-0 then another goal for Portugal as Rui Silva then made it 3-0, Eden Hazard pulled one back on the 78th minute but it was enough. Delroy Wilberhand received a rating of 8.1 for Portugal while, Paul Bolsens and Dylan Herremans received a rating of 6.9 and 6.5.

2 games in the Second Round today with Denmark v France and Romania v Czech Republic.


Denmark 1-3 France
France dominated today with a hatrick from Yassine Benzia despite Denmark going 1-0 up through Christian Eriksen. Jeff Carstensen received a average rating of 6.7 while Raphael Scott received a average rating of 6.6.


Romania 4-1 Czech Republic
Romania went through the next round after Czech Republic went 1-0 up through Jan Krejcik and then the Romanian attack assembled with Gabriel Torje scoring two goals, Cristian Cazan scoring on the 25th minute and Adrian Puscas scoring a penalty on the 49th minute. Cristian Cazan received a average rating of 9.0 while Cosmin Marian Stanila received a rating of 8.2. Zdenyak Zebroski received a rating of 6.5.

Switzerland went through today after a win over Norway with Admir Mehmedi scoring a penalty on the 16th minute.


Poland 2-0 Wales
Poland also went through after Robert Lewandowski and Mark Peter Koltowicz both got themselves onto the score sheet in the 50th and 58th minute. Mark Peter Koltowicz received a average rating of 7.8

England today went through to the next round with 2 goals from Jamie King on the 1st and 13th minute which was enough to send England through. Krupesh Shah received a rating of 8.0, Jozef Ostrowski received a average rating of 8.3, Kane Brooker received a rating of 6.0, Ben Warner received a rating of 8.7 and he was the man of the match, Louis Ostrowski received a rating of 8.2, Joshua Bean received a rating of 7.6, Akash Vidyasagar received a average rating og 8.1, Jamie King received a rating of 8.4, Derrick Porritt received a rating of 7.2, Ziechael received a rating og 7.9 and Sam Magarry received a rating of 7.0.
