Welcome!
Hello, Shinsuke Nakamura Austin McAnuff.
Shinsuke Nakamura Austin McAnuff is a English Jamaican born in Tokyo, Japan, and is legible to play for one of the 3 country's. Austin McAnuff's mother is Japanese and his father is Jamaican, and was born in Tokyo in 1996. At the age of 2, the family moved to England where Mr Austin McAnuff had been offered a coaching job at one of the best youth systems in England, The Saints Academy, where he trained the likes of a young Gareth Bale, Theo Walcott and Nathan Dyer.
After growing up with his dad in Southampton, Shinsuke often trained with the Southampton U8's and so on as he grew older, and although a very talented football player, enjoyed to concentrate more on his bigger love, of cricket, and after watching hours upon hours of clips of his hero Fred Trueman, dedicated his sporting life at that point to cricket.
The Saints Academy tried to grab hold of Shinsuke as soon as they could, every year offering him a contract 'that he couldn't refuse' but still Shinsuke rejected. Until the summer of 2012 where Shinsuke not only found out that he was being closely watched by the Barcelona squad, he also found out that a wrist injury would stop his cricket career forever. This broke Shinsuke down as he wanted to be the the very first multinational cricket player who ever played for the team.
After weeks of sobbing to his mother and father, he finally admitted that there was only two choices left for him, sprinting in athletics, or football. His father obviously biased to football shouted instantly, "come and play at The Saints Academy", "no" he replied, "if i play football i want to make it on my own, without the biased help of my father at Southampton, if i play football i want to be the best and i wont stop until i'm at the top, and if that means doing it all by myself, so be it.
Shinsuke trained then everyday with his father, but at home, when his fathered returned from work everyday, and through the alotted holiday time, he was up early every morning in the gym, and was out late at the indoor football courts next to the gym. And then said, "i'm ready, ready to be in the market"
However it wasn't for just over a year until a team snatched him up, which angered Shinsuke, but then right on the last day of the transfer window, Newly promoted Championship team Coventry City Signed him on a contract that would last up until 2016, this is where is journey started.
