Good transfers so far mate :)
Doubt Fierro would join IRL, but Fellaini could do.

United Sell Four Players

Manchester United have shocked the footballing world, by selling four players who are often seen as first team players. Nani, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Patrice Evra have all been sold by David Moyes, without featuring in any of the three pre-season games played so far.

Ashley Young decided to join Tottenham Hotspur for £20 million. Some Spurs fans cannot find out why Villas-Boas decided to buy the England winger, with Gareth Bale already having a solid position in the left midfield position. Meanwhile, Patrice Evra has joined Italian side AC Milan for £10 million. Evra was the vice-captain in the side, but at 31, it's suggested Moyes wants to bring in some new faces. The departure of Evra has made it even more likely that Leighton Baines will soon be joining the side.

Antonio Valencia was the next to leave, joining rivals Chelsea for an estimated £15 million. Many United fans are shocked at the move, with many not understanding why he moved to Chelsea, after both Borussia Dortmund and Juventus expressed their interests in the services of Valencia. Finally, winger Nani left Manchester to join Russian side Anzhi for £13.75 million, with United also recieving 10% of the profit if Anzhi were to sell Nani. Anzhi are known for their big money signings, and this is just another to add to the collection.

After announcing the departures, Moyes decided to openly state why he decided to let such big players leave the club, and what future plans he had in order to come around the issues, in positioning, and player depth. However, Moyes would not say how he would use the money available from the players.

"I decided to let Evra go for a few reasons. Although I do not like his playing style, and find he attacks far too much, I felt better players could be bought with the money. Although fans may not like the move, I have done it to benefit them. In the long run they will understand why I have completed this move, as age is getting to Patrice now. I also sold the other three as I do not intend to use wingers. I have seen the tactics Andrei Kanchelskis uses, and I want to try a similar thing, so wingers are not required. As a result, Giggs will play in a central role this season."
Great idea selling the wingers, but the prices could've been better. You can easily get 20Million+ for each one of them. Doesn't matter as long as you sign a good player for that money :)
Wow, some key players leaving. I agree with the sellings of Ashley Young and Evra, but I think you're taking a risk with Valencia and Nani leaving for little money. Now, you're going to need some more depth on the wings, and I'm sure you'll have the funds to make a great signing to improve the side even more :)

Lewandowski Joins United

Robert Lewandowski has become the next star to join David Moyes and Manchester United. The Polish striker was signed for a staggering £28.5 million, and is expected to feature regularly alongside Robin van Persie, possibly pushing Javier Hernandez onto the bench.

Lewandowski has never played more than two seasons at one club, which could be an issue for David Moyes. Robert signed for Dortmund in 2010 for just £4.1 million, but managed to score 30 times in 67 games.

Manchester United have been known for buying Borussia Dortmund players, with Sir Alex Ferguson having recently bought Shinja Kagawa from the club, while being linked to centre backs Mats Hummels and Neven Subotic.

Lewandowski became known recently for his excellent displays for his national side, scoring 15 times in 45 goals, and most notably in the recent EURO 2012 competition.

Robert Lewandowski will be on £68k p/w in a deal lasting until June 2016.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :P

Great signings mate! The sells are incredible, but I have to agree with Akash on the tags :P
Akash and Jason: I agree the prices could have been better, and I tried, but just didn't get the luck. Milan and Arsenal both offered the same for Evra, Chelsea offered the most for Valencia. I was offered £15 million for Nani, but from City, so decided against it, and only Spurs offered for Young. I would have liked more, but it wasn't bad I suppose.

PaukerJ: Thanks, great to see you commenting on here too. You were the reader that stuck out the most to me with Rubin Kazan. I could come back from school and expect a comment from you everyday. :P
3 Wingers out? I smell Gareth Bale.
TCO: You smell Gareth Bale 'ay. Well, how good are you senses?

Moyes Signs Antonio Adan

Antonio Adan has become the next player to sign for Manchester United. The Real Madrid goalkeeper signed for £1.9 million after being transfer listed by Jose Mourinho. Adan featured 124 times for Real Madrid sides, but only 3 of those were for the first team.

Adan has been named as the next potential Iker Casillas, but at 25, he needs to show his potential soon to be able to get first team football. David Moyes stated his interest in Adan as a possible replacement to US national Tim Howard in the future when at Everton, so it is understandable why Antonio was signed for the Red Devils.

With David De Gea solidly taking the first team spot in many fans eyes, and Anders Lindegaard acting as a solid back-up to De Gea, it is expected Adan will take a backing role at the club, only rarely featuring and acting as back-up to both goalkeepers. However, rumours on twitter were linking Moyes to the likes of Mandanda and Akinfeev too, meaning Adan may play more than fans think in the upcoming season.

Antonio Adan will be on £28.5k p/w in a deal expiring in June 2016.
RM keeper= Quality! :)
The Madridista: I needed a goalkeeper, and when I saw him transfer listed, I thought of you. Happy now? :P
Almost got him on loan with Forest, so dunno if he's up to the first team standard, but decent buy.
