Champions League Group H

A decent month but the draw against Man City was f*cking frustrating yet again because of a late goal and the draw with Monaco was poor. The loss to Brest was outrageous. Pretty much the whole first team was away on international duty and that meant several 15 and 16-year-old players had to step up and play. They were on the verge of a great win but conceded a late goal and lost in extra time. The form in the league was strong though and we have games in hand over P$G.
I can't believe your not top! :P Disappointing loss to Brest there, but as they say, "You can't win anything with kids" ;)

Champions League 1st Knockout Round Draw

A great run in the league with some great goals scored, especially against Brest and Valenciennes but what was surprising was that Manchester City were held 0 – 0 against Anderlecht in Belgium so we topped the group by beating Galatasary. This was a great situation for us as we drew CSKA Moscow but City drew Juventus, the much tougher team! There have been great performances throughout the month and I am looking forward to the break ahead as well as the transfer window. There wasn’t much point to the friendly but it kept the players fresh. Some excellent results after having players sent off as well shows me this team is a lot stronger than some expect which stands us in good stead for the Champions League defence! January will hold some surprises if we can go about it the way I have planned but that is something we will have to wait and see!

(The Club World Cup Final has been excluded, as I want to do a write up on it like I have done for the other finals we have played in. That will follow shortly!)
some great results their mate, you got the luck of the draw in the Champions League though, could have been easier though

Still on the top mate, and the UCL draw was good for you... That Boateng guy (the young brother of Kevin-Prince and Jerome, who knows?) seems great! :) Keep it up!
