Just in case you didn’t know…

Bangoura 1 Year Ban

Guinean striker Ismael Bangoura has been ban from represented FC Nantes for a whole year.

Bangoura who played for Emirati club Al Nasr breached his contract by moving to Nantes and both were ordered by FIFA to pay €4.5 million as compensation.

Nantes was forced to loan the striker to Umm Salal were he was imposed a further 2 month ban before scoring (in my save) 20 goals in 24 appearances.

Bangoura will return to Nantes at the end of this season.

(The ban is real, goals are in-game. Just thought you guys should know because he’s someone I look to use next season. I Didn’t want him to come out of nowhere.)
Good story so far :) I always have a special interest in French story, when they are well writen like this one. Keep it up m8 ;)

PANCRATE HOLDS UP HIS HANDS

Fabrice Pancrate has apologised for his part in what was a Coupe de la Ligue thriller versus AS Nancy.

The Nantes winger lost the ball to Nancy star Lossemy Karaboue, leading to Nancy’s third goal in the 86th minute.

Although Nantes still managed to equalise after Yannick Makota’s goal, Nantes were forced to make rapid changes and enter extra time with an unbalanced team, consequently losing 4-3.

“I’d like to this opportunity to apologise to the fans and my team mates for my mistake.

“It was just one of those moments where you completely lose concentration and I couldn’t react in time to keep the ball and to that I am really sorry.

“We have a big game against Angers now and I’m desperate to bounce back.”

Pancrate was immediately replaced by Louis Poggi and the experienced winger looks set to be axed from the starting 11 versus Angers.

(I’ve actually never seen anything like this on FM. I was a bit annoyed at the time but credit to him for the apology haha)

KAREMBEU SLAMS PANCRATE

Karembeu has labelled Fabrice Pancrate as “overweight” following his apology for his mistake in FC Nantes’ 4-3 defeat to AS Nancy.

Pancrate gave the ball away late into the second half to gift Nancy a goal and Nantes feels that has got to do with the winger's physical shape.

“For me Fabrice’s problem and I’ve told him this before, is his weight. I afraid he is too heavy.

“By that I don’t mean the guy is fat, far from it. He’s actually a very muscular bloke. The problem I have with him is that he is a winger and his weight makes him at least a yard slower than I would like.

“Fabrice is 31 years old now, approaching his 32nd birthday, so unfortunately science has its toll on you and he will get slower. His weight will only enforce that and it was very visible in the mistake he made.

“If he has the bad luck of getting a bad injury, I’m afraid that could be his career done because as we’ve seen before with other players, soon come a vicious circle of setbacks.

“I appreciate his apology as will the fans. We are all human so we all make errors but I hope he takes my advice in trying to minimise them.”

Karembeu was also tight lipped other whether Pancrate would feature in the Derby de l’ouest at the weekend versus Angers.

“I’ve never been one to reveal my starting line-up and everyone knows that by now. We’ll come away and assess the game against Nancy ahead of a huge clash with Angers.

“Whether it is Pancrate or Poggi or Messi, nobody has a guaranteed spot in my side so to me it’s not a big deal if somebody plays. All I can promise is that we will put out a team that is ready to win.”

Carrying the team at the moment

Karembeu: “A severe contrast is occurring. We have been very good in attack but are leaking in more than a tap! Being too honest in defence has cost us recently and if we don’t improve next month, I may look at adding a bit more of aggression into the team come January.”

ANCELOTTI SACKED

Paris Saint-Germain has sacked their Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti following a run of poor results.

Since battering Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Lyon 8-1, PSG have gone a total of 4 games without a win, leaving the Parisian club 6th.

It seems PSG's owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi will be in search of a manager who cans a deliver a more dominant approach to the Parc des Princes befitting of their squad calibre and budget.
Nice update there! Ancelotti got sacked in my Lyon save as well in November so he's clearly not the best man there :p
Great story man! Nice updates

WORLD EXCLUSIVE - NUKE KNOCKS BACK TIME

A North Korean nuclear bomb believed to be aimed at the USA has collided with a unknown volcano.

Due to this, the nuke has defied all scientology and reversed time back two weeks prior to December the 21st.

Many believe the reversal of time is the workings of doomsday, while others have been thanking the miracles of the Lord.

The Illuminati are also linked with the time reversal.

World leaders have since confirmed that we have travelled back into the past and promise the same shouldn’t happen again.

“Today, I, you and all humans of planet earth have been the victims of an occurrence unknown to mankind.

“We cannot certify the cause of this but I can assure you that all global forces will be working as a collective to identify the nature of these happenings and prevent them from happening again.

“We have everything under control and I plea to all citizens of the earth to live their lives just as they did two weeks ago. Thank you for your time and God bless America.”

The Real Story

Evidently none of this is true but what is true is the fact my laptop reset on me while a took a trip to the toilet. I uploaded this story to misguide the attentions from my stupidity and cater for those who had seen me previous update of December part 2. Thankfully I haven’t lost much data but I will have to play Caen and Sedan again for those who saw it before.
