This story is based on the team i have supported since i got into football, Norwich City. The manager is randomly named George Ricketts. But this story will mainly be focused on getting Norwich too the top, not the life of the manager.

I hope you follow! Updates will be released in the near future!

Norwich City - A history

Norwich City Football Club is an English professional football club based in Norwich, Norfolk. The club was founded in 1902 and first won promotion to the Football League First Division in 1972. Since then, Norwich have played a total of 21 seasons in the top flight, with a longest continuous spell of nine seasons. Norwich have won the League Cup twice, in 1962 and 1985. They were founder members of the Premier League in 1992–93, finishing third in the inaugural season and played in its first three seasons, reaching the UEFA Cup 3rd round. Norwich most recently returned to the Premier League after a six-year absence.

One of the most memorable moments in the clubs history was beating Bayern Munich, in Munich. Norwich is the only club to ever beat Bayern at there old home, the Olympic Stadium, in the Champions League (named European Cup then). Incredible goal by Jeremy Goss.

Summer Transfers

Very happy with my transfers. I got Carlton Cole to supply backup to Holt and Damari. He will be playing id they get injured, tired or if i need to rest players.
Vukcevic is going to be fighting for a place in AMC with Hoolahan and my selection will be based on perfromances.
Damari is a good, young striker for little money. He will be uprfront with Holt most games.
Praet is the transfer i am most happy with. He is young and has 4 and a half star potential. He will be playing central midfield alongside Howson for all my important games. He will turn into a real gem of a player

I had to dispose of players if i wanted to make a lot of signings so i did. I have no need for wingers as i play 4-1-2-1-2 formation. I was very happy to get 7.5 million for Pilkington. 4m for Tierney was also very reasonable. I wanted to sell Snodgrass but no one wanted to buy him so i loaned him out to Celtic who are paying 100% of his wages and 100k a month

Ricketts comments on Pre-Season

In a recent press conference Norwich manager, George Ricketts, commented on recent pre season results for Norwich.

"I am a bit disappointed with pre season. The wins we got were expected. If we had not beaten Lowestoft or Kings Lynn i think i would break down in tears. However a draw with River was not too bad, some promising signs. However the loss to Watford was unacceptable and so was the draw with Have"

"I feel I can achieve the expectation the club has set me. I have a very talented squad and made some great signings. This club has a future. In a few years we won't just be a small club fighting relegation. We will be up there"

Praet is a nice signing. Good Luck
Nice start mate keep it up! Some good signings as well that will benefit the team no doubt
You got a great deal on selling Pilkington, and Damari should be a class act as well. Where do hope to finish in the league this season?

It's hard to say really. I have a talented first eleven but i have a relatively small squad so if i am unlucky with injuries or suspensions, i could be right down there. However i would love a mid table finish but absolute minimum is to fairly comfortably survive from relegation
Good luck mate, very good start. Pre-season wasn't perfect but wasn't that bad either to be honest. The season will be better!

August Update

I am very happy with this result. First game in charge and the team draw at Stamford Bridge. First goal for Damari as well! One downside is the 2 month injury sustained by Johnson

Another good result. A good win and another goal from Damari. He looks like a great signing already! Things are looking good for the season ahead.

Although it may not look like that good a result. I am happy because this was many players' first game if the season and i played 3 U18s (Barker, Toffolo and McGeehan). All of which were part of the Norwich U18s FA cup winning side in real life! Just thought id bring that in ;)

Player of the Month

Hard to choose between Damari and Bassong. Damari has all the goals but Bassong has been an absolute rock in defence. But due to the instant impact, im going to choose Damari
