Ricketts States Ambition

George Ricketts today stated his ambitions at Norwich, if they are to come true, Norwich fans should be very excited.

"After the first few league games i realised this club is much more than a team battling relegation. The players are passionate, the fans are loyal and the board are supportive. This club has massive potential and I plan to use it. This season I want to acheive a top half finish. Next season I want to push for Europa league and challenge the teams like Everton and Arsenal."

This statement have left Norwich fans excited but critics criticising. Many believe the manager is being too ambitious and a small club like Norwich cannot even begin to think about challenging the likes of Arsenal. With the club sitting in 8th, this season has gone very well so far and only time will tell.

Critics may be in for a shock. What's your plans for when Bassong leaves for AFCON? That's if Cameroon qualify of course.
kingPadster - Honestly. I'm not really sure. Ryan Bennett and Micheal Turner have played brilliantly so they'll play but apart from them two. I have no one good enough to be challenging for top half finish :/ let's just hope he doesn't have to go to the AFCON :P

In real life Cameroon didn't qualify, Cape Verde did but I'm not sure if that will be on the game or not :/
There's still hope yet then!

October Update

Probably should have won this won. I was happy with the late equaliser though

Good result. Damari showing he can score goals. Very happy with my strikers at the moment (despite Holt having an appalling game :P)

Never expected the team to get anything from this but I was still disappointed.

Absolutely delighted with this result. Especially due to Bassong's late winner. In to the quarter finals now and I've been drawn against Watford :D

Player of the month

It has to be Bassong again. He has been absolutely amazing in defence and with the late goal against Liverpool as well. Couldn't have asked much more of him!

Good stuff! Reading a bit disappointing but the Liverpool away result more than made up for it!

Cheers man!
Great match reports, Bassong looks absolutely amazing, as to be expected. Unlucky draw against Reading but a delightful win against the mighty Reds, keep it up.

November Update

Poor performance we deserved to lose. Not much to say about this.

One of the worst results of the season. We should be beating QPR and we didn't. Very poor. But somehow Bassong still got a rating of 8.4!? shows how shit the other players must've been

This is more like it. Great win at Anfield and great performances from Howson and of course Bassong.

Another good win and another man of the match for Bassong. There is no stopping this guy. Contender for BPL player of the season i reckon ;)

Probably could've won this one. I'm not too disappointed though. Guess what? Another man of the match for Bassong!

Player of the month

No doubt that it is Bassong. A truly brilliant player for me and also picked upi Player of the month in the whole league.

League table on December the first:

Try to be bold and push for the Europa League ;)

I'll keep going. Gonna be tough though. Bassong is going to Africa Cup of Nations :'(

Dear oh Dear Arsenal! What's your fixture list like for when Bassong goes?

Ricketts: Lets make history!

George Ricketts has rallied his Norwich players in an attempt to get them performing even better. Norwich are doing very well in the league and are challenging for a Europa League spot. They are also in the quarter finals of the Capital One cup against Watford. This season has been a memorable one already but Ricketts wants his team to go even higher. With Bassong missing the majority of January and February through his selection for Cameroon's AFCON, Ricketts will have a tough time replacing such a vital player but he stated he has his eye on a couple of loan options to bring in.

Norwich could quite potentially make history this season. Finishing in European places would be there highest finish in years and could record their first Capital One Cup win in their history.
