October Review

A tough month but life in the top flight has hit us badly and we are being dragged into a relegation scrap but my aim was to avoid relegation so hopefully we can pull it off!

New challenge for Carlos

Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis has announced former Watford boss Roberto Carlos is the successor to recently sacked Walter Mazzarri. The former free-kick specialist Carlos said to us "My time at Watford, was one I enjoyed much and I thank Mr. Riva and his colleagues for making my time there bearable, but this is a team with a future, an aim. They have been very successful over the years, I want to add more silverware to that history." When asked about his style of play he will be using he said "Similar to Watford, a passing game, the reason we were down where we were is because the players we brought in, weren't used to it. But these players know how to play the passing game so I see us going far."

Former Watford assistant manager Giancarlo Corradini has linked up with former boss Roberto Carlos at Italian giants Napoli. "Me and Roberto had a very good working relationship at Watford, we got on very well and shared a few jokes at our time with Watford" Mr. Corradini said.
